Birthday Supper For Rob (Nov.26, 2022)

My brother Rob's birthday is coming up right away on Monday so I decided last minute to have everyone over for a birthday dinner for him tonight.

I decided to make sheppard's pie which is a family favorite and then Rob really likes lemon meringue pie so Jason made a version of that.

Instead of making it in a regular pie plate, he made it in a longer pan then instead of the meringue, he made a whipped cream/cream cheese combination.

Haylee came over and hung out with us for the day.

Freya still wasn't feeling the best so she and Haylee snuggled on the couch mostly and watched tv.

I tried to get some cleaning done before everyone came over.

Adrien also dropped Hunter off in the afternoon as he had to go do a job and Mel was in the city.

Haylee went home for a bit when Kody got off work then when they came back for supper, they brought Zepplyn with them.

Morgan had to take her dog, Asia, to the vet so she wasn't able to make it.

Rob and Jason.

Hunter, Kody, Haylee and Freya.
She perked up a bit around supper time.

Mom and Hunter.

Zepplyn.

Getting ready to blow the candles out on the cake.
Jason's version of lemon pie was a bit hit.

Adrien ended up working late but he did make it eventually and had some supper.
I just realized that I didn't get a picture of Alivia (or myself), we were both there too.

Everyone hung out for a bit.
Zepplyn wanted Jason to go down to the basement and do Tik Tok's with her for a bit so he did.
Freya was not feeling well at all, she had a high fever and she just laid on the couch most of the evening.
You know she was sick if Zepplyn and Jason were in the basement playing and she didn't even want to go down with them.

Adrien had to work early tomorrow morning and Mel was in the city so he asked if Hunter could spend the night with us.

Of course we were fine with that.

He normally sleeps at the foot of our bed but decided he wanted to sleep with Nanny instead.

Freya ended up spending the night again with us as well.

We were keeping a close eye on her because she did have such a high temperature.

It was between 38.8 and 39.1 - If it got any higher we were going to take her to the hospital but thankfully that didn't happen.

We watched the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special, it was cute.

Then it was off to bed.

I have a WCSS conference in the city on Monday and Tuesday so Jason and I are heading in there tomorrow.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
