My plan for today was to get caught up on my blogging, I have let it get way too far behind.
I always seem to do that when I go on vacation and because I went on two vacations recently kind of back to back, I'm farther behind then I've ever been.
I make myself notes while I'm away and then when I'm home, I make the current posts, I just leave them in draft mode because I want everything to be posted in chronological order.
So I got up, made a coffee, got situated with the lap top on the couch and got to it.
Around lunch time, I got ready and headed out for a run.
I wanted to get at least a 10k run and I did 12k so that was awesome.
The Exercise details.
My average pace and splits.
This was the best I've felt on a run since we got back from vacation.
I felt like I could get full deep breaths properly and I actually could push myself to go a bit faster when lately I've been feeling like it was all I could do to just be out there.
I ran through the old trailer park in town and it was really wet and muddy so my time in the 8th km is a bit slower because I had to walk just a little to maneuver my way around some giant puddles but I still ended up with a sub 7 average pace so I was pretty happy about that.
I took one sweaty selfie when I got home- not sure why it turned out so blurry but whatever.
I also arrived home to this fellow sitting in our front yard.
Cleavus is his name apparently and Jason plans to keep moving him around the yard from now until Halloween.
I think he turned out pretty good.
Jason made pastrami from scratch (I know, he's amazing) and so I had a pastrami sandwich with some salad for lunch.
Jason cut out tree stands for me and drilled the holes in them for he trees to go in.
I'll still need to glue them in but that will take no time at all.
He also cut out another 3 piece pumpkin for me.
I liked them so much that I wanted to make one for myself.
He got these ready for me as well.
These are going to be pumpkins - He made three sizes and they will be in sets of three.
He's so handy!
I spent the entire day working on my blog, literally (except the hour or so I went for my run).
I got caught up on the Invermere trip and started uploading pics from our NS/PEI trip.
So I'm still not entirely up to date but I'm not as far behind as I was.
We decided to pay to watch Free Guy on Disney+ and when we went to do it, lo and behold, it's free now anyway.
So we watched that together tonight.
I thought it was a cute movie - I really like Ryan Reynolds.
Then we called it a night.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
