Cat Life is Tough (Mar.12, 2019)

Well my plan since last week was to start working out this morning again.
I can honestly say that I did not want to get up when 5 am rolled around and seriously considered pushing it until tomorrow.

Thanks to this guy, I got my butt out of bed and got at it.
He didn't even have to work today but he still got up early to work out.
I know he is doing it to encourage me and it does.

I got a pretty good work out in.
I figured I'd try jogging right off the bat so I warmed up for 3 minutes then jogged for a minute right away and it nearly killed me (not literally) but it felt like it.
Holy, is it ever easy to fall out of shape.
I ended up taking it a little easier but my heart rate was up pretty good from that so I know I had a good work out.
I did some incline work then at the very end, I did jog another minute - it was much easier once I'd warmed up a bit.

Happy to have the work out over and done.

You can tell it was a good one, look how red my face is.
That's one day under my belt.

I weighed in when I got to work.
I want to be 100 lbs down from this point by next year.
I believe I can do it and I will.

There was a line by line meeting in the office today that pretty much everyone except SG and I attended.
So it was quiet.
She & I did go have a break together and I worked on a Sudoku.

I warmed up leftovers from supper last night for lunch.

I was watching the Sister Wives episode from the weekend and Professor Snuggles decided to attack my hair.
He was having quite a good time with it.

The afternoon seemed to fly right by at work.
I wanted to leave at 4 because we were heading to WCT to get the truck serviced.
Just as I was preparing to leave NCT dropped by for a visit so it was pretty much 4:30 by the time I left anyway.
She was really pleased with the sales they made on the weekend at the craft sale.
I'm glad.

Oh the life of a cat.
I arrived home to this.

I have "my spot" on the couch just like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory and Paddington keeps it warm for me when I'm at work.
He just lays around in the funniest positions.

We headed to WCT and stopped for the oil change first.
It only took about 20 minutes then we stopped at Walmart for some supplies.
We hit up No Frills next, we wanted a Pineapple so we could try out the new way of eating it my sister showed me on Facebook.

Apparently you don't even have to peel it, you can just pull it apart tidbit by tidbit.
I can't wait to give it a try - just imagine how much pineapple will be saved.
I always thought so much of it got wasted when you cut and peeled it.

We ran into a fellow that used to do work for My Honey when he was in the rig department.
JY - he built pumps and we used to go out to lunch with him often.
He is a really nice guy.
He & his family moved to WCT and he has a different job so we don't see him much anymore so it was nice to catch up.

We hadn't had any supper so we stopped at the casino.

They aren't the speediest in there so we had to wait a bit.

They make this salad that I really like mainly because it has edamame on it which I love.
I got them to add a chicken breast and it was delicious.

My Honey had the philli cheese steak wrap with a greek salad which came with the good olives just for future reference.
He really enjoyed his meal as well.

After we ate we each threw $20.00 into the machines.
I lost all of mine.
My Honey was going back and forth and ultimately ended up cashing out at $10.00.
Then we hit the road for home.

My brother posted some pics of the kiddos on Facebook.

Looks like Mr H went down to the shop with his dad.

Being silly at supper.

Love the missing tooth!

Loving on his new kitty, Alex.
My SIL said they fight over him!

FCSS posted pictures from the sleigh races on family day here in town and there was this nice one of mom on there.

It was 10 pm when we got home so we just put the groceries away then hit the hay.

Reached the 10,000 mark - yay me!

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
