SICK (Oct.29, 2026)

When I woke up this morning, I wasn't feeling well at all.

My throat was sore, I was coughing up a lung and I had a splitting headache.

 My voice was sounding very scratchy as well.

I was going to get ready and head to work but Jason suggested I stay home and I decided that was likely best.

I didn't want to pass along whatever I've picked up to anyone else.

I literally spent the whole day on the couch and this was my little cuddle bug for most of the day.

It felt like such a wasted day because I didn't do anything at all but I really wasn't feeling up to it.

I headed to bed early - I hope getting lots of rest helps and that whatever this is passes quickly.

I barely moved today as you can see.

Dentist Appointment, Pumpkin Carving and Scrap Journaling (Oct.28, 2026)

Mom and I had dentist appointments in Whitecourt this afternoon,

It was just a cleaning/check up.

I haven't been since last year but all was good, I had no cavities or anything of concern so I'm all good until the next time.

Mom had a cracked tooth but they were able to fix it today she's all good to go until next time as well.

Jason asked me to pick up a couple pumpkins while I was there but they were all out.

There was one rotten pumpkin left in the container.

When I got home, Jason popped down to the grocery store in town and they had some left so he grabbed some for us to carve.

Mel posted this picture of Alivia  today - It looks like she has her hair cut short, I like it.

Haylee still isn't feeling well so Kody took her to the hospital in Barrhead today.

He took Eden with him but Freya was in school so he asked if I could pick her up.

So I had to make sure to be back in Swan Hills in time to pick her up.

She had dance right after school and they wore their costumes to dance today.

Crystal had picked up some pumpkins as well for the girls to come over and carve.

Theia was over so Jason took the girls over and dropped them off then went back and picked them up when they were done.

The girls did a great job and Crystal's is amazing - she is very artistic.

I worked on a scrap journal page.

This one was for the weekend as well and the movie we went to see.
