It was a busy day at work today but I managed to get my inbox cleared out and I felt great about that.
It was also the last day of school.
Wow - she has sure grown up so much this year.
After work, I packed for me and some for the girls, Jason packed too then we headed in to the city.
We fly out tonight at 11.
We met Kody, Haylee and the girls at the airport and once we made it through security which was a breeze, we went to Chili's for something to eat.
They have these super hot deep fried cheese sticks that Freya just loves.
We took the girls to the playground in the airport which was at the total other end from our gate but we had some time and we wanted to let them blow off some energy.
Which they did.
Jason normally would have gotten right in there and played with them but he is really not feeling well at all.
I hope he gets over it soon so he can enjoy our vacation.
I had booked seats for Jason and I and the girls all in a row so we had three seats together then one across the aisle.
Kody and Haylee couldn't get seats together by the time they checked in so Kody was randomly in the middle of a row several aisles in front of us and Haylee was on the aisle but in the very last row.
I planned on sitting in the middle with the girls but Eden wasn't having it, she wanted mom.
So I let Haylee take my seat and I took hers.
We did switch out for a short time but then Eden wanted Haylee back.
The girls did eventually fall asleep and I actually did too which is a first for me.
I normally don't do much sleeping on the plane.
I'll pick back up in the morning when we land, we are due to get in to Halifax around 6 am.
Got all of my steps in.
