The girls woke up early this morning.
Eden was raring to go because she'd had like 15 hours of sleep but Freya was not feeling well at all.
She was complaining of a headache and a stomach ache.
I tried giving her some children's Advil but she vomited right after taking it.
Then we tried some children's Gravol.
She kept that down but really didn't go to sleep.
We spent most of the day giving her medication then waiting for it to 'kick in' but it never did.
She vomited after each time we would give it to her.
So I spent the whole day just laying with her in the bed or on the couch trying to console her.
Poor dear was feeling just terrible and nothing we did seemed to help.
Finally around 6 pm we decided enough was enough and took her to emergency at the hospital, Kody came with us.
Right away they gave her some medication that would stop her vomiting and almost within 15 minutes she said her belly was starting to feel better.
She still had the headache though.
The doctor finally came to see her about an hour after we got there.
He checked her all over and said he could find nothing serious and that it was likely heat exhaustion from being out in the sun all day yesterday.
She was looking at the phone and looking at food and starting to say she was hungry - she hadn't eaten all day so that was a good sign.
We took her back home and gave her some more pain medication and she was finally starting to feel better.
Jason picked her up some sour cream and onion chips and herb and garlic dip which is what she requested.
I was so glad that she was finally feeling better.
They stayed and visited for a bit but then Kody took both the girls home as Jason and I both have to work tomorrow and that was pretty much our day.
