Hello Seattle! (Dec..26, 2018)

We needed to be on the road by 7 am this morning so we were up early, packed and then we were on our way to the airport.

Deer sighting on the way.

We got to the airport in plenty of time so went to Wings for some breakfast.

I just ordered toast and bacon.

Oh, and a Caesar (virgin of course)!

Made it.

It was a pretty quick flight and then just like that, we were there.

Happy to be here.

They had this pretty cool airplane over the luggage belt.
We got our luggage then grabbed a cab to our hotel.

We stayed at a Marriot outside of the city.

It was a nice big room.

This is the view from our room.
It was a grey and dreary looking day out there but there was no snow and the temperatures were on the plus side so I was completely happy about that.

It had a kitchenette too.
We unpacked all of our stuff then went to the front desk to see if there was a movie theater nearby.
We had a car rental booked for tomorrow so we thought we'd just do something close to the hotel tonight.

Turned out the hotel had a shuttle service that would take you different places nearby and there was a movie theatre in this mall area.

They dropped us off and we had lots of time before any movies were starting so we walked around and looked for a place to have some supper.

They call this "Snowflake Lane" and it was so pretty.

They had these huge present decorations.

I bet it looks even nicer when it gets dark.

We went inside and found this cool food court in the mall.

It looked like food trucks parked in there - cool.

We couldn't decide so went with a couple things.

This burger place looked good - I really like their signs.

I just had to have those 'green garlic fries'.

We went for the Brawler Burger.

I think we get just as excited about trying new food as we do about travelling to new places.

These green garlic fries were absolutely delicious.

We shared the burger and it was delicious too.

This Fat & Feathers place sold ramen so we had to order some of that too.

It looked really good but we've had better.
It was ok though.

My Honey & I.

We still had lots of time to spare so walked around the mall across the street.
I love this Santa and reindeer they had in the mall.

We had some dessert at the Cheesecake factory.
It was yummy.

The lights do look really pretty in the dark.

I just adored these drummers they had lining the street.

We found the movie theater.

Decided to do a double header and got tickets for both Aquaman and

Bumblebee.

Looks like we have the theater to ourselves.

It was totally empty.

Except for us!

It had the awesome recliner chairs that I love so much.
Aquaman was ok but Bumblebee was far better.
After the movie, we got a cab back to the hotel and called it a night.

Yup, I am!

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
