Famosa, Casino & Best Bed Ever (Oct.30, 2019)

Mom is flying home tomorrow so I went in her bedroom and got everything cleaned up and ready for her.

There is a fluorescent light in her room and it was looking pretty dim so My Honey went down and got a couple new bulbs and replaced them for her.
I guess Paddington was supervising.

After work, we headed into the city.
Mom gets in around 10 am so instead of getting up early we thought we'd just go spend the night.

We stopped at Famosa for supper.
We had the prosciutto wrapped mozza balls for an appetizer.
The marinara sauce on these is so good I could drink it.
Seriously, I've even considered licking the bowl a few times (I've been able to refrain myself so far but you just never know)!

They had changed their menu up so there were a few new things on it that we decided to try.
Like these wings which I wasn't crazy for but My Honey liked them.

They also had thick crust pizza added.
We were expecting something like the Spicy Square at Prince Street which it was not.
However, the dough was so good.
It was thick but soft, not too chewy or doughy, nice and light and fluffy.
It was fabulous.

It was too late to go to a movie when we got to Leduc so instead we tried the new casino out there.
The decor inside is so boring compared to some of the casinos we've been to.
I did find the Bats & Cats game that I liked and ended up breaking even after an hour of gambling.
Not bad.

.
My Honey got us a room at Four Points by Sheraton which has the most comfortable beds ever in my opinion.
I was so looking forward to hopping into it!

We watched a documentary about video games from their start as Pong on through Atari and Nintendo.
It was really interesting.

It was lights out for us at 11.

Back home, my son and his family carved their Halloween pumpkins today.
Not surprised to see the PacMan one there.
I think they did a great job.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy.
