The Weekend is Here! (Mar.28, 2020)

It's the weekend, yay!

I got a snowman painted.
My goal is to get some stuff made to sell at the Christmas craft market this year.

I was going to make some clay molds for this cabinet so I wanted to take a before shot.
I didn't end up doing it though, I's still thinking about it though.

I stopped over to visit my son.
I guess I should be social distancing from them too but I've been seeing them all along so I'm not sure if it would make a difference now.
They are the only ones that I see.

She's drinking from a big girl glass now, a REALLY BIG one.

It's so big, it's kind of tough for her to handle.

She got it though.

She got a little on her but it's just water so no biggie.

She's learned how to say "mine".

Still likes seeing herself on the phone.

Her dad is teaching her how to say "Love You".
I think she got it!

I brought her growth chart over to her finally and I brought markers with me to use on it but they didn't work very well on it.
I put them in my purse to take back home but Miss F decided she wanted them.

This little girlie loooooves markers, crayons, pens....writing instruments of any kind really.
My son loved to color when he was little too - I got him a little tykes desk and he used it for years.
I think I might look for one to order for Baby F.

When she was done playing with them, she put them back.

She is becoming a little more independent every day.
For some reason when I came over today she looked so grown up.
It made me a little sad.

Always making faces.

She colors on the table just as much as on the paper.
She knows she shouldn't too but she just does it anyway.
Little bugger.

Side eyes - her signature look.

Love how she grabbed onto her mama as she walked by and just hung on.
She loves her mama.

I had a craving for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies so I made some.
I bought a pre-mixed pack which I added pretzel pieces to.
I also made a batch from scratch but they had to chill in the fridge for a few hours.
The pretzels were a good addition.

I cooked the ones I made from scratch later when My Honey got home and they were much better.

I didn't go down all day like I should have so I ended up having to stay on for a good long time to reach my 10,000 steps.

I found a new show to watch on Amazon Prime though so that helped the time go by.
I've been wanting to watch this one for a long time now but could never find it anywhere before.

Happy that my workout is done.

I had all these big plans for what I was going to get done today but in the end, I didn't end up doing much.
I finished reading my book, Make Something Good Today, by Ben & Erin Napier.
I enjoyed it.
I also got caught up on some shows that I had PVR'd.

When My Honey got home, we watched some more Tiger King.
Just when you think it can't get anymore crazier, it does!

Miss H's beautiful window art - didn't she do a fabulous job?
I love it.

Ha ha ha.

Pretty much.

I saw this on a Facebook page of a friend and thought it was just a lovely idea for Christmas Cards.

OMG - this made me laugh out loud.

Yup, I've done this lots.

That is all for today, Until next time, be happy.

Another Day of Quarantine (Mar.27, 2020)

The days are starting to all be the same.
Not that I'm complaining, I can endure a little boredom if it helps stop the spread of Covid.

I popped onto the treadmill here and there throughout the day and by the end of the day I'd racked up almost an hour and a half of walking.

It's the only exercise I'm getting these days so it's good.

I made a slow cooker hash brown casserole for supper and it turned out pretty good.

My niece joined in the community art project and got her window painted.

Zeke and I both think that she did a fabulous job!

Excuse the language, kind of true though.

That's all for today, until next time be happy!

Another Hard Day at the Office (wink wink) (Mar.26, 2020)

I haven't even been working at home for a week yet and already all the days are starting to feel the same.

I warmed up left over chilli to have for lunch.

I broke up the day by going down and getting on the treadmill every hour and by the end of the day I'd accumulated almost 2 hours worth of walking.

My sister is doing more handy work around the house.
She's changing the drain pipe in the kitchen sink and found all kind of goodies in there.
The Tiger King memes are cracking me up.
This one especially made me laugh out loud.
When My Honey got home from work, we watched another episode before heading to bed.

A Community Art Project (Mar.25, 2020)

My Honey was back to work today so it was kind of lonely all day by myself.
Working from home has it's perks but I do miss chatting with my co-workers.

The day was quiet but it went by quickly.
I did the same thing on the treadmill again today, went downstairs for a few minutes every hour and hopped on the treadmill.

I got my 10,000 steps in and it broke the day up for me.

Our local FCSS came up with a great idea for the folks in town seeing as everyone is pretty much stuck at home and can't get out.
They started a scavenger hunt of sorts.
People paint whatever they want in their windows then send a photo in.
Then everyone else can look for them and find certain ones when they are out walking.
You don't have to be close to anyone to participate so you can still maintain social distancing.

Lots of folks in town are joining in the fun and I think it's so wonderful.

People are very creative.

A 'stained glass' easter egg.

I love the llama.

These ones have a whole Easter scene going on.

This one has the stained glass mosaic look and lots of artwork displayed too.

This one is darling, birds and bunnies.

Another mosaic and artwork.

Aww, a little chick breaking out of an egg.

Tough to see but it looks like another mosaic design and Easter eggs.

The colorful sun rays are so cute.

This is the one Miss Z and her mom did.

A ladybug and a butterfly.

They did a great job.

Looks like a bunny crossed with an egg - great job!

Ha ha.
This is making fun but it really bugs me sometimes that so many people think they are the expert on so many topics and they feel like they have to share their opinions and they know best.
Just remember folks - just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's true!
