The girls wanted to go for a swim this morning before we checked out.
It was super cold out so Jason went on the treadmill instead of outdoors, the gym didn't open until 9 am though so I took to the girls to the pool while he went to the gym.
Freya in the hot tub.
Making plans.
Jason joined us when he finished up his run.
It was a good thing too - Eden is just fearless and was wanting to jump in the pool, even if none of us were near so trying to take care of both of them was tough.
They are both little water babies - they both love the pool.
Freya made friends with a couple little girls that were there.
She always makes friends so fast.
1, 2, 3 go!
Fearless!!!
Baby toss!
Water baby!
I think I need to get her a swim vest.
After our swim, we checked out and grabbed some breakfast at the Denny's right in the hotel.
Eden and I.
We had planned on taking the girls to the pool in Sherwood Park for the day then we mentioned a trampoline park and Freya was more excited about that.
We let her decide which she preferred and she picked the trampoline park.
I found one really nearby in the Sunwapta area in Edmonton that we'd never been to so we went there.
Freya took a selfie and did some editing to it on the way over.
There was a giant bouncy castle with a slide - Freya was very patient with Eden when she was walking up the stairs to go down it.
She would bounce it on the way down and Eden loved it.
They went up and down many times.
It was great fun for them.
Going down the giant bouncy house slide.
There were a couple of smaller bouncy houses the girls went into together.
I just loved seeing them sitting like this together.
Freya was being such a great big sister.
Fun in the bouncy house.
Another bouncy house.
Their little giggles make my heart so happy.
Little giggles.
Touching the ceiling.
Eden took off running a few times so we'd have to chase her down, this time was Jason's turn.
There was this big diving board think you could jump off of into this pit area.
Of course Freya had to try it out.
Eden was a bit too little to do it but she tried her darndest to get up there a few times.
Just jump!
We spent a couple of hours there then we made a quick stop at Walmart to get a few things.
Eden found a helmet she liked and a bike.
This is the one she gravitated toward.
It was a pretty big started bike for her though - too big.
So we steered her toward this smaller one.
This is the one Papa!
We left with the helmet and the bike and a few other things we needed.
We stopped and got subs at Firehouse then hit the road for home.
The snow has built up around Ivy's fairy house so now it looks like a cave and there was a light on in it when we got home - it looks so cozy in there.
She tried on her little bike helmet when we got home.
Her little belly is so adorable.
Diaper wedgies are the worst!
Everything she does is so darn adorable - even jus the way she's standing here.
Jason got her all settled in the bedroom with a snack and a movie on the big screen.
This is the life!
Both girls ended up spending the night with us again since neither Jason nor I have to work in the morning.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
