Before we checked out, we took the girls down to the pool for another swim.
Excited to go for a swim.
She's always so happy.
Freya was pretty happy too.
The water was a nice warm temperature.
After swimming, we went out for breakfast to a new spot we've never tried before, Blackjacks Roadhouse.
It was a huge place, like a big barn inside - I loved the building.
Eden really just ate a couple of bites of sausage and that was it.
Freya also didn't eat much.
She didn't like the bacon and eggs so we ordered her the kiddie pancakes and she ate one of them.
Jason and I both thought the food was really good.
The pancakes were delicious.
There was an old fashioned mechanical pony ride on the way out of the restaurant and so the girls had to try it out.
Ride em cowboy.
Freya figured out that it actually worked just by pressing the button, no money required.
So they each had a couple of turns on it.
I think Eden could have been entertained there all day.
Good thing nobody else was waiting to use it.
I mean - it was kind of fun.
Stick Em Up
Cutest Cowgirl in all the land.
Jason took this picture of us all and I was shocked with how large I look.
How has this happened again?

We stopped at Homesense so I could have a look around - I didn't really find anything exciting.
Then we stopped at Walmart for groceries and Freya tested out the bikes.
Now that she can ride, we'll likely buy her a bigger one next year.
There were some Halloween things left on clearance for 50% off and Jason found this ghost headband for Eden.
We got Freya a set too.
We were treated to a gorgeous sunset on the way home.
Beautiful Alberta sunset.
When we got home, I got to work unpacking.
Jason played with the girls for a bit then we took them home.
Then he went out for a run even and I got to work putting the kitchen back together.
I washed the floor then rehung the curtains and moved the table back.
I also got my coffee station put back together.
I didn't put anything back up on the walls because I'm not sure what I want to put up there yet.
I do want to make a gingerbread village for the top of my cupboards so I picked up a puffy paint pen and I ordered some paint markers.
Once I get the shiplap up in the living room, I think I'll get started on it.
I saved this picture because I like the idea of adding trees.
Mine won't be 3D like these, it will be flat but I'm trying to think of a way to have it out from the cupboards just enough to put some lights in behind.
I had considered taking tomorrow off since we have Tuesday off and I thought it would be nice to have a super long weekend but I'm also planning on taking Friday off to go the city with Bonnie and Shennelle so I think I'll just go to work tomorrow.
I thought I would be putting up shiplap and paint but we didn't have a chance to get to Westlock to pick it up.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
