It was really quiet at the office today.
Only Bonnie, Calvin, John and I were there today, everyone else was off.
I managed to get a lot of work done which was great.
After work, we packed and got ready to head to the city.
We are going in for the weekend to go see the Christmas lights and take the girls to get Santa pictures done.
The girls ended up coming in with us - We are going to meet Kody, Haylee, Crystal and Zepplyn all at the house we rented for the weekend.
We took mom with us, I dropped her off at Jen's because she had a few appointments next week that Jen is going to take her to.
It was snowing and the roads were a little slippery so I took my time driving and it took much longer to get there than it usually does.
After we dropped Mom off, we went to the mall to get the girls shoes to wear tomorrow for their Santa pictures.
I was lucky that I found cute ones for both of them.
I thought these little silver boots would look good with Eden's green dress we got her.
Then Freya picked out these gold shoes - she wanted high heels, the spiky ones she said.
This was the best we could do for little girls though and I think they will look super cute with her pink outfit.
I couldn't resist and ended up getting yet another Christmas stuffie.
Before we left St Albert to head to our vrbo, we stopped at Crumbl to get some cookies to try.
Then we went to Firehouse to get subs for supper before meeting everyone over at the house.
When we walked in, the place was swelteringly hot.
I got Freya some slime (I hate it but she talked me into it against my better judgement) so the girls were playing with it at the island in the kitchen.
They kept it contained to the island luckily.
The place was really nice, I loved the couch, it was super comfortable.
We just chilled at the place for the evening.
