We had to pack up and leave our airbnb today - we are heading over to Wolfville today, Jason is running a marathon there tomorrow.
The scenery here is just so beautiful.
It looks like it could be on a postcard or something.
Across the water is the Tuna Blue where we ate the other night.
This would be a fun place to hang out in the summer.
I love this house.
So beautiful.
I could have just stood there and soaked it in all day.
I want pictures of all the orange trees.
If I had a dollar for every time I said 'look at that tree' on this vacation, I would be a wealthy woman.
This tree was brown and orange - unusual but still very pretty.
Seriously - I took so many tree pictures that it was kind of ridiculous.
I just couldn't resist.
Some pretty yellow trees.
This tree had all the colors - orange, yellow, green and red.
A gorgeous orange tree just peeking out among all of the rest.
Just chilling in the back seat.
Love, love, love.
The reds are my very favorite.
We made our way over to the Wolfville area which is in the valley.
There are lots of vineyards in the area.
Lots of winery's and brewery's have popped up in this area in the last few years.
Looks like there might be an event going on at this one.
We pulled over to take some picture and stretch our legs.
It sure was a pretty spot.
There were a few orange and yellow trees sprinkled in there.
Freya
Even this bush was pretty.
Morgan texted to say that Paddington got out somehow and had been out overnight.
My mom was just beside herself with worry.
Morgan wanted me to send a picture so she could make a Facebook post to see if anyone had seen him.
So of course I couldn't get it off my mind after that - He doesn't have the best cat skills so I thought there was a pretty good chance that he was a goner.
We did a bit of shopping in New Minas then we found a spot to have some supper, Cumin.
I had Paddington on my mind so I forgot to take pictures but we all had different pasta dishes and they were all very good.
Next we stopped at Acadia University in Wolfville so Jason could go pick up his race pack for tomorrow.
Then we went to Noggins Corner Farm.
It was a farm with a bunch of different activities.
Including a corn maze.
We started it but we didn't get very far and we gave up pretty quickly.
There was this mountain of tires for the kids to climb.
There was a rope swing Freya tested out.
She's fairly strong and was able to almost climb up to the top of the rope.
Next we tried out the rope maze
The goal was to make it to the middle and it was really tough.
Look at the sun shining away.
It was just a great way for kids to run around and get out some energy.
Walking across the maze bridge.
There was also a u-pick pumpkin patch.
So Freya and Jason were checking out the pumpkins.
We went to the Farmers Market while we were there and I bought some fresh apples so Freya decided to have one.
I guess it was sour.
After we left Noggins, we headed to our airbnb for the next couple nights.
Jason found this really cool place that was all windows called Sunken Escapes.
I couldn't wait to see it and it did not disappoint.
It had it's own swing and bbq outside.
Then this is the inside.
This is looking towards the bedroom area.
This is looking toward the kitchen area.
Then this is looking out toward the lake.
This is the bathroom area - there was a nice big tub and as you can see, the whole ceiling is glass so you can see out to the trees and everything.
There was an outdoor shower too enclosed inside of a fenced in area.
Such an experience to stay here.
We wanted pizza for supper so we ordered some in New Minas and went in and picked it up.
It was quite the drive.
It was quite the drive.
It wasn't the best but it was ok.
Then we just had a quiet evening and relaxed.
Jason is running in the marathon in the morning so he didn't want to do much tonight.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
