I was really tired this morning, I didn't want to get of bed.
I had to work so of course I had get up and go.
I was treated to a beautiful sky when I headed to work.
Jason sent me a message.
He tried his trick with his compressor and he was able to retrieve the scrunchie from the vacuum and get it working again.
Phew!
He applied for a new job a couple months ago and he already had an interview with him now they want him to go back for an interview today at 1:30.
So he dropped me off at work for the afternoon.
He picked me up after work - he said the interview went well, they really like him.
They want him to start after Christmas.
He hasn't decided if he wants to take the job yet though.
There are a few things to consider first.
When we got home, we got the door put back up over the mantel, the trim put back up and I was able to start getting everything put back together.
I was thinking of putting something else up over the fireplace instead of the door but now that the wall is green, the door really pops so maybe I'll leave it.
Kody and Haylee are both going to Whitecourt early tomorrow so we said we'd keep both girls overnight.
She was dancing around the house when we stopped in to get her.
It was dark when we picked them up and some houses had their Christmas lights on.
Eden loved it so we drove her around town to show her some more.
She kept saying 'nother one, nother one Papa'
It's hard to get her to stand still sometimes for a picture.
Jason picked up some cookie dough for Freya so she made us cookies.
She made a giant one that didn't come out of the pan as nicely as she wanted so she added whipped cream and grapes.
Very creative of her.
Jason was the taste tester and he approved.
I tried a bite too, it was good.
Eden wanted noodles.
Note where the noodles are.
😄😄😄😄
She was all about the broth.
These are spicy noodles too - she can handle the spice better than I can.
Singing for her supper.
She and Jason were playing a game of find the candy under the cup.
Found it!
Hiding a candy under the cup for Papa to find.
She didn't quite have the hang of moving the cup around with the candy underneath.
Taste testing the candy.
I made myself some more of the Jello fluff that I've been digging lately.
It's just sugar free Jello made with plain Greek yogurt.
It comes out fluffy and it's high in protein but low in points.
I also tried these 4 ingredient muffins I saw on Instagram reels.
2 bananas
2 eggs
1 cup of peanut butter
blueberries
You mix it up and cook it in the oven like muffins.
They turned out ok.
They are a fairly healthy treat.
An idea I saw for a craft with the girls at the office.
I haven't settled on anything yet, still looking.
I'm heading to the city tomorrow by myself and I'm going to try to knock out as much Christmas shopping as I can - see if I can get it all done in one day.
I likely won't get everything done but even if I get a big chunk done that will feel good.
Jason is staying here with the girls for the day.
I'm sure they will keep him on his toes.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy.
