Another Office Gift Exchange and Snowman Craft (Dec.12, 2025)

Bonnie, Shennelle and I were heading into St. Albert for our annual admin Christmas lunch and gift exchange today and I was doing the driving.

I got up super early so I had a nice bubble bath then I got ready and picked them up at 7:30.

We stopped in at the office to grab the wood that the warehouse guys cut up for us then we hit the road.

It was really cold out today, -26C.

We stopped at McDonald's in Barrhead for some breakfast then made a quick stop at Costco before heading to the office.

Bonnie and I each bought ourselves one of the fuzzy blankets like the one I had boughten for the gift exchange yesterday at the office that was so popular.

We had a safety meeting first then we got the wood out to paint while we were waiting for lunch to be delivered.

I got a picture of the group of ladies.
There are a lot of us so it was hard to get us all in but I did it.

Lisa offered to take a picture so that I could be in it.
I cannot believe how large I've gotten again.

We had sandwiches and soup for lunch then  we got back to crafting.

Shennelle and Bonnie.

Michelle and Dale - she's a new admin that just recently started.

Rhyley and Nicole.

Megan working on the floor - there are only so many plug ins for the glue guns so we had to get creative.

Here we all are with our finished snowmen - I think they turned out great and I think everyone enjoyed making them.
Lisa doesn't like getting her picture taken, can you tell?

It's always nice to catch up with the ladies at the office - we work together but we don't actually get to see each other in person very often.

We left there just after 2 and stopped in at the St Albert mall to do some shopping.
We also made stops at Walmart, Sephora and I went back to Costco to get sleds for Freya and Zepplyn.

It was snowing pretty good when we left the city which was much earlier than I expected it would be but that was just fine with me.

We did stop in Barrhead and McDonald's again for some supper.
I had a McChicken and it was pretty good.

It stopped snowing while we ate so the rest of the drive home was much less stressful although it was still very cold out so the windows kept icing up and we had to keep the heat on pretty high.
That doesn't bother me at all but Bonnie and Shennelle were pretty hot.

It was just around 8 when I got home.
I was expecting the girls would be there, Jason had planned on picking them up after he got off work but Freya was at a sleepover with her friend so it was just he and I tonight.

That doesn't happen much on the weekend.
I want to go through what I've purchased for Christmas so far so it's probably better that they weren't here.

Jason made this little fairy creation for her.

He made it out of birch and a hazelnut and dried flowers.
He is so creative.

My belly still isn't feeling the greatest.
I've been popping Pepto all day, I had some more before bed.
I sure hope whatever this is passes soon.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
