A Christmas Carol (Dec.18, 2025)

It's slow at work right now, a lot of people are already off for the holidays so it's a great opportunity to catch up on some stuff.

I saw these Santa's and thought they looked easy to make - maybe I'll make a couple next year.

I left work a bit early and we headed to the city.

We had tickets to see A Christmas Carol at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton.

We stopped at Kingsway to pick up a necklace that Randy was getting for Crystal and we grabbed a couple of Shawarma's there which we sat and ate.

We were cutting it really close so we found underground parking near the theater to park in and when we opened the door from the parking garage, it opened right into the lobby of the Citadel which was awesome.

It's a nice theater, it was our first time being there.
We will have to make a point of coming back.

At intermission we checked the lobby out a bit more.

Lobby at the Citadel.

It was very nice, it had these little pathways with little seating areas scattered about.

It was like a big atrium with all these plants.
Very nice.

The show was great, the actors that played the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present were my favorite but the whole cast was really wonderful.

I'd honestly go back and see it again tomorrow night.
We were thinking that we should have brought Freya, she is at an age now where she could sit through it and I think she would have enjoyed it.

It plays every year so we will bring her next year for sure.

We spent the night at Jen's place even though she's in NS.

It's been a long time since we've done anything like this with just Jason and I - it was nice.

Kody and Haylee are coming in to the city tomorrow to do some shopping so they are bringing the girls to us and we are going to stay another night and take them to do something fun.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
