School Christmas Concert (Dec.17, 2025)

Jason started his days off today and he put them to good use.

He made a second little fairy for Freya.

They are made all of natural things he foraged for outdoors.
I think they look super cute.

I saw this glitter tree and thought it would be a really fun project to do with the girls for Christmas.

Jason shut the drawer after getting his clothes out then he heard some rustling so he opened it back up.
Good thing he did, there was a stowaway.

The kitties were doing some cuddling this morning.

They look so cute!

The school Christmas concert was tonight.
They did things a bit different this year, they had tables set up for everyone which was nice.

Eden was very busy trying to get everything she could get her hands on.

The bells group started things off.

We kept Eden busy with the phone for a bit.

Then Freya's group was up.
They grouped the grades 1-3 together and they did 2 songs.

All of her little friends were around her.

She said she get's nervous being up there.

They sang Jingle Bell Rock

And Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

The kiddos were doing all the actions.

Then they had grades 4, 5 & 6 grouped together and they did 2 songs.

Then they had all the grades 1 through 6 up there together at the end.

The phone wasn't doing it for Eden anymore, she wanted to be up and running around.

I love this little Christmas outfit Eden was wearing.

They sand Do You See What I See.

Then they sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas and had the audience join in.
And that was it.
45 minutes and it was done.
Short, sweet  - best Christmas concert ever.

They did have hot chocolate and cookies afterwards so you could stay and visit if you wanted to.
I thought it was great and I hope they stick with this format.

They used to have each grade come up individually and sing like 3 or 4 songs and it felt like it took forever to get through.
I liked this much better.

Jason and I had walked down so we were walking back home.
It was pretty chilly out but I felt like I needed the exercise.

Kody met us at the house and dropped Freya off so she could have a sleepover.
Eden came too for an hour so that Kody could shovel his driveway.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
