It was back to work for me this morning.
I only had a couple hours because at 9:45, we headed to Hazel Bluff near Westlock.
Our district had arranged for a speaker to come in and do a presentation for us today.
We had lunch when we got there then at 1 pm, the presentation started.
The speaker was Spencer Beach.
He was burned in a workplace accident, 3rd and 4th degree burns to over 90% of his body.
He is now a motivational speaker and talks about safety at home, work and play and also just about life and what is important.
It was very touching and emotional - a great presentation that makes you really think about what is important.
After the presentation, Bonnie, Shennelle and I zipped in to St Albert to go to Costco and to Marshalls.
I got a gift for our office gift exchange so that was good.
I think all of my Christmas shopping is now done.
We stopped at McDonald's for supper the made it back home right before 7pm.
Mom offered to start wrapping gifts which is awesome - I feel like I'm on the ball with everything this year, no stress at all.
Now I can just enjoy the season.
