Light Up (Nov.27, 2025)

Nobody ended up coming back in to see Mom until morning so I just sat on the chair all night long and played games on my phone.

Thank goodness Rob had left me his charger.

The nurses came in around 5:30 am to check on her and mom said she was feeling much better this morning.

I asked what time the doctor usually came in and they said 7.

It was 9:30 before anyone came in though. 

They said that a specialist had looked at the xrays and there were no fractures or bleeds anywhere so Mom was good to go but they are going to make some follow up appointments to do some further testing on her heart.

Rob had come back and brought Declan with him so mom got ready and we headed out.

We grabbed some breakfast at Tim Horton's then got back to Swan Hills around 11:30.

I was going on no sleep but I surprisingly wasn't feeling tired at that point.

I changed into some fresh clothes, brushed my teeth, washed my face and headed to work for the rest of the day.

Declan requested hamburgers for supper so I made those for him.

Mom and I had them too, they were pretty good.

Then I got to work finishing up the tree and the rest of the decorating and got the rest of the bins taken downstairs.

Light up was going on in town tonight, I normally go but Declan didn't want to go and I was tired so I skipped it for this year.

Jason popped over there though on his way home from work and ran into Haylee.

She was pulling Eden around in this cart - she was just laying in there enjoying life.

They went over to Burger Baron to get some food.

Eden was doing some coloring with Sammy's daughter.

Kody met them there and they had some supper.

He said he ran into Freya too - she was hanging out with her friend but made a plan to come over to our house after the fireworks.    

She did come over and she rearranged a bunch of the Christmas decorations.

She had all of these guys set up around the cardboard tree Jason made for her.

She made a road and put the little truck on it.

She made a little Stop sign.

She had the nutcracker beside her house that she painted.

Then she had a bunch of stuff set up on the little table.

By this time I was pretty tired, my eyes were sticking open or some something, it was weird.

I just couldn't stay awake anymore so I called it a night and headed to bed.

I fell asleep immediately - I don't even remember Jason and Freya coming to bed.
