I was up at 7, had a coffee then started packing up and getting ready to head out.
We had to be out by 10 am and the only thing the VRBO asked that we do was fill the dishwasher.
So we did that of course, we also cleaned up, took out the trash and just tried to leave it as clean as we could.
I did leave behind some of the puzzles that I didn't want, I figured the next guests might want to do them.
We were all ready to go in plenty of time so visited a little before hitting the road.
One last picture of the mountain just outside the VRBO before we head out.
So beautiful, especially on a sunny day like today.
Thank goodness we didn't wake up to a snowy day like yesterday.
Freya decided last minute that she wanted to drive home with Mom and Dad so it was just Morgan, Whitney and I.
Morgan sat in the back with Whitney for most of the drive.
We were heading all the way back to Swan Hills so we had an 8 hour drive ahead of us.
We stopped in Airdrie to do a bit of shopping - Morgan picked up a Pebbles costume for Whitney at Spirit of Halloween.
Kody and Haylee went in to a thrift store in Calgary and found this Raggedy Ann costume for Eden.
We had to make a few other stops for gas and bathroom breaks so it was about 6.40 pm when we got home but that was pretty good time I thought.
The roads were nice and clear and the sun was shining the whole way so it was a nice drive.
I dropped the girls off then unpacked everything.
Just as I finished up with my unpacking and putting away, Rob arrived with Mom and so I helped get her stuff downstairs then Jason was walking through the door from work.
We went down and voted for the town council - made it there right before 8 when it was closing.
I didn't feel like going but was glad I did afterwards.
I spent the rest of the evening playing this color block game on my phone.
I wasted so much time on it that I decided when I went to bed that I'm going to take it off my phone.
