We had an early flight to Edmonton this morning, 7 am which meant we had a super early morning.
We were out waiting for the hotel shuttle by 4:30 am as it was first come first serve.
It was a packed shuttle too, I don't think they could have fit another person.
Freya and I found our gate while Jason got us Tim Horton's for breakfast.
The plane ride was pretty smooth thankfully.
Freya slept for about the first hour then she was up the rest of the flight.
She liked looking out of the window at the clouds.
It's tough not having YouTube to watch but she colored. drew. played games on my phone and then I also downloaded KPop Demon Hunters (the movie) on Netflix on my tablet so she watched that to pass the time.
It was just over a 5 hour flight so just after 9 am when we landed in Edmonton.
After we picked up the car, we did some shopping at Sport Check - I was looking for sneakers for myself (Saucony Guide 18) but they didn't have any.
I did get both Freya and Eden a pair of winter boots.
We got some groceries at Walmart then made a stop at Starbucks so Freya could get a pink drink and some cake pops then we hit the road for home.
We had to make another stop in Barrhead for gas, bathroom, chicken tenders from Coop (they are so dang good) then back on the road.
It was nearly 4 pm when we pulled into the driveway.
We actually got snow here over the weekend.
I started noticing it on the side of the road about 10 k out from town.
It's 10C here today and there is still quite a bit of snow around so they must have really gotten a good dump.
We unloaded most of the vehicle - I wanted to unpack a few things I'd picked up for Eden then we took Freya home.
She was so excited to see her mom and sissy.
Eden was happy to see her but wouldn't sit still long enough for a hug so Freya was a bit upset about that.
Eden is just all about the phone - as soon as she saw it she was saying 'phone, phone, baby phone'.
Back home at last (still upset that Eden wouldn't hug her).
Eden's hair is getting so long.
She is talking so much but it's mostly sounds like nonsense - I can make out some of what she is trying to say.
Back at home, we unpacked and put the groceries away.
I had planned on going for a walk but kind of tuckered out.
I played a few games on my phone then by 8 pm was falling asleep on the couch so I just went to bed.
I am going to weigh in tomorrow and I know it's going to be bad.
We have no more vacations scheduled for awhile so I think I should be able to stick to plan (aside from going to BC this weekend with the family to see my brother but I can be good for that).
I also decided that I'm going to start getting up early enough in the morning to do some stretching.
Then I'm going to alternate workouts between running one day and weight lifting the next.
Tomorrow will be a run day then Thursday will be weight lifting.
I am also going to follow WW and make a point of tracking everything.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
