Casino for Supper (Oct.16, 2020)

October 16 today and can you see what is covering the ground?

Yup, that's right, SNOW!
I'm not ready for winter to be here but winter isn't really concerned about what I want apparently.
I still got out for my walk though.
It wasn't windy so it was actually nicer than yesterday's walk.

Back at home, My Honey and Baby F were having breakfast.
They made eggs - she always wants to make them because she likes cracking the eggs but she eats them too so that's ok.

It was a quiet day at the office, BH was at a turn around and SV worked from home so just SG and I.
After work, My Honey and I headed to WCT.
I had a couple bags of clothes and a few other things I wanted to drop off to the second hand store and they were accepting donations tonight.

We did a bit of shopping then we stopped in at the casino for supper.
I had a virgin caesar - yum.

My Honey ordered a BLT and I got a grilled chicken sandwich then we split with each other.
We also shared a caesar salad.
(I took the third slice of bread out of my sandwich just to save on some points).

It was pretty quiet in the casino - the waitress told us that business has just not been picking up at all.
I feel so bad for all of these businesses - when is this whole corona virus thing ever going to end.
It is dangerous health wise for folks but it is having such an impact on so many other aspects of  peoples lives, I'm not sure which is worse at this point.

My Honey took this picture of me and I love it.
My hair isn't done and I'm not dressed up or anything but I actually can tell that I've lost weight in it.
So proud of me - I always knew I could do it and now finally, I am.

Thought I'd share a few memories that popped up on Facebook.
They are from our New England trip that we took back in 2014.

This was a hotel we stayed at in Brattlebourough, Vermont.

The views from our hotel balcony were amazing.
So scenic.

It had a huge balcony too so you could sit out and enjoy the view.
The hotel room was beautiful and huge too - the bed was kind of uncomfortable though but who cares, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

We also stayed in Salem for a few nights and went on a ghost tour which was a lot of fun.

OMG - the look on the cats face cracks me up!
I know my cat never eats the food at the bottom, does yours?

Well, that's about all for today, until next time, be happy!
