I could hardly believe it but we actually woke up to snow this morning.
Not what one wants to see on June 8.
Haylee and Eden set to cheer on the Edmonton Oilers.
We booked an airbnb in the city for the night - Kody and Haylee and the girls were meeting us in there but we stopped in Barrhead to attend the memorial for my bosses wife, Tracey Leslie, who passed away earlier this year.
It was a simple service and afterwards there was a little reception so we stopped by.
My old boss Rose was there so I got to catch up with her.
Shennelle and Nadine were there too so even though it was a sad occasion, it was nice to see them.
We headed straight to the West Edmonton mall after that and Kody, Haylee, Freya and Zepplyn met us there.
They left the girls with us and went to a restaurant for supper and we took the girls to the food court then we took them to the arcade.
They enjoyed the virtual ride and did that a couple of times.
Then they played a few other games but after filling their cards twice we figured we'd spent enough money there so we left and went looking for something else to do.
And guess what they picked to do?
Another virtual ride.
I let them each pick a show so they did it twice.
Then we headed over to the house.
This is the picture of it from the internet but it did look pretty much like this (greener grass and leaves on the trees now though).
We wanted some snacks so we went to a grocery store and got some grapes and a couple frozen pizzas and a few other things then we just went back to the house to hang out.
Alivia is on social media now - she has been for a while now but she seems to be more active lately.
I love seeing pictures of her having fun with her friends.
Silly girls.
