Graduation 2017

The weather forecast had been calling for rain today but luckily for the grads, the rain held off.
It was a little chilly but other than that, they had a dry, sunny day.

First thing this morning mom had an appointment for a mammogram.

They have a mobile unit that gets out to remote areas and it just so happened to be here this weekend.
I usually go for a yearly one as well and my reminder letter to make an appointment showed up in the mail this week.
I normally go into the city for it but thought I'd ask at the mobile unit this morning if they might be able to squeeze me in and save me a trip and they did!

The lady was a little rough - it is the first time it was ever painful but at least it is done for another year.

After we had the appointments were over, we headed back home to get ready for the graduation ceremony.
Both Miss H and Miss M are graduating today.

Miss H and her escort, another fellow graduate.

Of course the proud family looks on.

Miss M and her escort.

Just chilling in the audience.

The whole graduation class - there were 15 grads all together.
And out of those 15 there were 2 sets of twins, I thought that was kind of amazing, I mean seriously, what are the odds?

Miss H getting her diploma!

Miss M with her newly acquired diploma.

Miss A got all dressed up in her pretty new dress for the occasion.

Miss M with her proud family.

My boy is proud of his girl!

I love this one, they both look so happy!

Nanny and Auntie with our little princess.

Miss M and her mama!

The grads getting ready to throw their caps in the air.

This great shot was captured by a local photographer!

After the ceremony, mom & I headed home for the afternoon.
The supper wasn't until 5 so we just hung out and watched some tv.
I did some catch up on blogging/journaling.

We went over to the supper for 5 and everyone was outside celebrating.

I bought the girls some fun glasses!

Party is getting started already.

Such a pretty dress and a pretty girl!
This is the kind of serious shot.

This is the silly one!

The group was all gathering for a photo so I wanted to make sure I got one of them all dressed in their finery.
They all looked fantastic!

Showing a little leg!

The whole group at the start of the dinner.
My Honey missed the graduation ceremony but he got off work a bit early so he could attend the supper.

One last picture before we headed home.
It was a long day for mom and she was tired so we called it a night.

My Honey mowed the lawn and then we watched a couple episodes of This is Us.
I got him up to speed on the story lines and I think he actually likes it!
Something we can watch together.

It was a nice day and I think both girls enjoyed it so I am glad.
It is a milestone in life so it's good that they will think back on it fondly.

That's it for today, until next time, be happy!
