A Day and A Night With Our Girl! (Sept.19, 2020)

I must be getting old because sleeping in isn't really a thing for me anymore.
Not that I mind, I like getting up early and getting things done - feels like I have way more time in my day.

The first thing I did was go downstairs and take everything off these shelves and move them out in preparation for the new shelves that we are going to build.

We were watching Baby F today since both her mom and dad were working.
Miss H dropped her off at 11:30 and we walked to the store and then over to the park.

We had to bring these guys with us.
She just loves Kermie and now seems she is loving on Gonzo too.
Animal she figures is My Honey's favorite.

She likes to just pile up the wood chips sometimes.

And give them to us.

She wanted to play on the Teeter Totter.

She's getting so big, she can hang on all by herself.

See Saw!

Then it was onto the dinosaur.

She was having a grand old time.

Of course the slide is always a favorite.

Who needs the stairs though when you can just go right back up the slide (with a bit of help).

She likes to sit at the top and tease us sometimes, we'll count down for her to go then she just doesn't and gets us to count again.

Is she finally going to go?

Nope, ha ha!

Snack time!
We'd picked her up some cookies at the store and she wanted the blue ones this time.

She basically just wants the icing.

Oh, and the sprinkles.
The rest we usually end up feeding to the birds.

She wanted to pick some flowers from our flower bed when we got back to the house.

She normally just rips the flower part off - she doesn't understand about keeping part of the stem so the flower doesn't fall apart.

The poor sunflowers just didn't have enough time to grow all the way.

Ended up getting a few flowers with a bit of stem.

We thought she was playing 'Seek' in the tree.

Turns out she was sneaking berries off the tree on the sly.
Luckily they can be eaten but they taste pretty bad so she only tried one.

She was so tuckered out from the morning's adventures that she needed a nap.

They are so precious, even more so when they are sleeping for some reason.
They just look so small and innocent.

We picked her up this little doll stroller yesterday, it was meant for her to push her dolls around in but she just wanted to test it out.

My Honey cooked up supper and when my son got home from work, he dropped by to have some.
Baby F 'washing' her face.

Mom dropped by for a quick visit too when she got off work.
We planned on keeping Baby F for a sleepover and when mom and dad were leaving to go home, we thought she was going to want to go with them but she didn't.

She was perfectly happy to stay with us and spend the night which felt good.

We watched a bit of You Tube videos then we headed to bed.
We watched a bit more once we were in bed but after 15 minutes or so, she was out like a light.

Sentimental Salvage & Design posted these cute houses that were made at a class she hosted.
(More of the ones I posted a picture of yesterday).
I think they are so cute and am definitely going to try to make a couple.

What great advice.
We spend so much time waiting for this or that to happen so we can enjoy life, for example, waiting to lose weight before going on a tropical vacation.
What if that thing you are waiting for never happens?
Then you will never get to do the things you want.
Just work on those things but do things in the meantime too.
Don't let life pass you by because it will and then what?

I found this website with these cute hoodies.
I want to order one and I asked Miss H to pick one out too.
She likes this one.

And this one.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
