Get Out of Dodge kind of Day! (June 13, 2020)

My Honey had a few things that he wanted to get completed on his greenhouse project this morning.

Before he got after it though, he made us a delicious omelet wrap for breakfast.

I was feeling really out of sorts and restless this morning.
Like I wanted to go somewhere and do something but I didn't really know what.
Not being able to really plan any vacations or anything gets to me some days.
I love going and doing things and having a trip planned to look forward to is something that I enjoy.
I wonder if life will ever get back to normal?

So to make me feel better, My Honey and I hopped in the truck around noon and headed to WCT for a bit of a trip.

He dropped me off at the second hand store and he went to Canadian Tire.
There was a line up at Repeat Boutique so I waited about 15 - 20 minutes to get in and you had to wear a mask.
They had all their kids clothes size 2 and under on sale for 50% off.
I got tons of cute things for the baby so it was worth it to me.

My Honey saw this cute little play house over at Canadian Tire.
I walked over there and met him when I was done then we headed to Walmart.

We got a few things that we needed and we picked up a little pool for Baby F.

We made stops at No Frills and the Dollarama too.

On our way out of town, we noticed that the casino was open so we decided to make a stop in there.
It just re-opened either last night or today - it's been closed for a couple of months due to the Covid Pandemic.
They took our temperatures when we went in and asked a few questions.
It was quiet and a large percentage of the machines were disabled so the 'social distancing' policy could be followed.
All the games I like to play were disabled so that was kind of a bummer.
I lost $20 right away then I didn't really feel like playing anymore.

I was just watching My Honey then this machine that I played once before and was lucky on came free so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I got a jackpot almost immediately and won about $140.
I played down to 120 then I cashed out so not too bad for a quick stop.

My son called right around that time to see if we'd pick them up some KFC so we popped back into WCT for that and picked up some subs from Subway for ourselves.

We stopped in to my son's when we got back to town to drop off the KFC and stayed to eat our subs.

My Honey had some gloves with him that he'd taken with us shopping just in case and Baby F was trying them on.

The terrible two's are in the beginning stages.
She's just started crossing her arms and pouting.
She has the put mastered.
It's so difficult to keep a straight face when she does this because she looks so darn cute.

Chilling with mom.

Ordering Dad around (or trying to).

When we were leaving she wanted to come with so she put her coat on.

We took her out to the truck to find the treat we'd picked up for her.
We rarely go shopping anymore without picking up something for her.

This time is was a kiddie tool set.

The little drill is battery operated and sounds like a real drill.

She thought that was pretty cool.

It came with plastic screws too that you could 'drill'.

It even came with safety goggles.

She knew what to do with them right away even if she didn't actually have them over her eyes.

Silly girl.

There we go, blurry picture but she has them over her eyes.

We stayed and visited for a short time but we had to get home to take our groceries in and put them away.

Looks like a big storm is brewing.

The sky was looking really crazy.

You could just see this wall of ominous clouds rolling in.

My Honey stood out there and watched it for a bit.

It was cold and windy so I watched it from the inside.
You can see just from this picture how quick it was moving.

That is a very photogenic goat!

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
