Weigh In Day (Sept.29, 2025)

 Today was weigh in day.

I had a few indulgences over the weekend so I wasn't sure what to expect - I was honestly thinking I'd be up.

I weighed in at 231.2 lbs.

Turns out I was actually down .2 since last weigh in which wasn't great but it was better than being up.

I am absolutely swamped at work right now, I feel like I have so much to do.

Just when I feel like I'm making some headway, I get a little issue that turns into hours worth of investigation to figure out then I'm behind again just like that.

I was late going home for lunch and I hopped on the treadmill for a bit but then I headed back to work early for a meeting.

When I got home after work, Freya and Eden were over for a sleepover.

Kody & Haylee are heading into the city to go to a concert tonight - Korn.

Jason took Eden for a walk and she was so happy with the mittens he found for her to wear.

Freya noticed that she had a letter from Ivy.

She even put a wax seal on it.

Such a nice letter.

Freya just loves getting them.

Even though the girls were there, I got to work right away putting up my new blinds.

I took down the old blinds and then washed the windows and cleaned everything up.

Then I just put them up with 3M tape - such an easy installation.

I've had paper blinds up in the windows for years now and they looked terrible so it feels great to finally have some real blinds in the windows.

I also put up the new curtains that I picked up over the weekend.

They pretty much look just like the ones I had before only these ones don't have grommets which is good - I'm kind of over grommets.

The school participated in the Terry Fox run the other day and they just posted a bunch of pictures from it.

I looked through all of them searching for a picture of Freya and was rewarded finally with the second to last picture.

There she is holding hands with her friend Theia.
