I had to go to Whitecourt today to do some training.
I've seen a little black bear on the side of the road the last couple times that I went there and this morning I could see some shapes on the side of the road so I thought I was going to see him again.
Then as I got closer, I realized it was a family of grizzly bears.
A Mama and three babies which is very unusual.
I got a bit closer (in my vehicle of course) so I could take a better picture and Mama wasn't concerned about me at all but all three babies were watching me intently.
The one little guy had something in his mouth.
When I zoomed in on the picture - it looked like a microwave popcorn bag - wonder where he got that from?
It was exciting to see them and I watched them just briefly then continued on my way.
I was training the admin that works in the Whitecourt office and my old boss Rose came from her Edson office as well to sit in on it and do some training of her own.
The admin in the Whitecourt office used to work in my office so it was nice to catch up with both of them.
The office there is beautiful.
It has this whole outdoor seating area they say nobody every uses.
I'd be wanting to sit out there everyday.
They have a really nice kitchen area as well with a comfy couch to the side.
Back at home, Jason had a visitor this afternoon.
They went for a walk and she tried out this desk in front of the second hand store in town.
She got to see some bears today too.
She's a little climber.
Balancing on the bench.
She loves being outside.
I finished up training around 1:30, made a pit stop at the second hand store in Whitecourt and picked up some clothes for Eden, Freya and Whitney then was back to work in Swan Hills by 3 pm.
Eden was still there with Jason, we all went out for a short walk then back at the house, decided to sit out on the swing for a while.
There was a bit of a chill in the air so we had to dig the mittens out.
I was trying to get a cute picture of her with the sunlight in behind her.
She wasn't being cooperative - she was suddenly just interested in getting those mittens off.
She did it.
Proud of herself too.
She is such a funny little character - I just love her so much.
Chilling on the swing again for a bit before we went in.
Freya ended up coming over later with Kody to pick Eden up.
She wanted to stay for the night so we switched.
Kody took Eden home and Freya stayed.
Jason took her out for a bike ride and I stayed home and worked on my blog for a bit.
I'm making progress!
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
