It started off as just a regular old day.
I worked, I taxi'd the kids around here and there wherever they wanted to go.
I had a meeting at work.
Then later in the day, my brother Rob called me to say that he'd fainted a few times today so he figured he should likely go to the hospital to get it checked out, could I take him?
So I left work and took him. he walked to the car ok, just a bit slowly then I parked near the hospital doors but again he walked ok in to the registration desk.
I had him sit while I was checking him in then he passed out again and fell onto the floor.
It scared me so much.
So a few hospital workers came to help, got him into a wheelchair and took him right in.
They got him into a bed and hooked up to a bunch of machines.
His blood pressure kept dropping super low but otherwise all was good.
He wasn't in pain at all or anything.
Then he passed out again on the bed and I knew something was really wrong but just didn't know what.
Ultimately they decided that they were going to send him to the city because they couldn't provide him with the help he needed here but they had to wait for a special ambulance and crew to come and get him.
I asked if he wanted me to come with him, he did not.
I did run home and get him some clothes and things to take with him to the hospital in the city since we had a little time before the ambulance was going to get there.
He called me when he got to the city and said they got his heart rate under control in the ambulance so all was good at that point but they were planning on doing some testing the next day.
So that was scary but he's in good hands and seems to be doing well now.
I'm planning to head to the city tomorrow to see him.
I hope they get it figured out.
