A Day in Whitecourt (Sept.16, 2025)

Kody is in Fort McMurray working for a few days and Haylee had to work last night so the girls spent the night with us.

Jason got up super early, like 4 am, and headed out and did a 30k run.

He's training for a marathon in Nova Scotia in October and he is very dedicated.

Then he got the girls up and ready after I went to work.

I came back to take Freya to school then Jason dropped me off at the office so he could take the car.

He had to go to Whitecourt to get tires for his truck so he took Eden with them and they hung out for the day.

They checked out the Halloween decorations at the dollar store.

I think she would like to have this hammer to hit things with.

She looks so adorable with this mask.

She found something that she wanted.

A See and Say.

They went together for lunch.

He bought her the See & Say and she really liked it.

He said they had a nice day together.

Since I didn't have a car, I walked home on my lunch hour, grabbed a snack then walked right back to the office.

When they got back to Swan Hills, he dropped Eden off at home but still picked up Freya from school.

She painted this family picture at school today and couldn't wait to give it to her mom - she was very proud of it. 

He picked Freya up a few things at the dollar store like this hat and glasses.

She loves stuff like this.

I walked home from work and planned on doing some blogging but then Kody called to see if I'd come pick him up in Whitecourt, he'd just gotten back from Fort McMurray so he was at the shop.

We got subs for supper from Subway then we just headed back to Swan Hills.

By the time I made it home it was 9 pm so I watched some Dateline with Jason before calling it a night.
