Road Trip (Aug.17, 2025)

Jason was sending me more pictures this morning. 

He was cooking up some bbq.

He also made ravioli and gnocchi.

We were up and packed up the car then we hit the road.

My sister is driving across the country - she's moving to Edmonton.

I'm going to drive with her and the boys as far as Ottawa then I'm going to fly home from there on Tuesday.

And the road trip begins.

I had to stop in Summerside for an order of deep fried clams before we left the island.

Scott met us at the Cows ice cream store (had to stop for one of those too) and he brought the boys.

So we got them all into the car and then we were off.

We stopped at the Blue Canoe restaurant in NB for some super.

This was a great photo op so we had to take advantage.

I got my picture taken with the other blue canoe that was there.

She ordered the turkey dinner and it sounded so good that I ordered it too.

It was very good.

Passing into Quebec.

We stopped to get gas and they had this Dubai chocolate bar so I got it and had to try it.

It was good.

We were hoping to make it to Ontario but ended up stopping at a hotel in Quebec for the night.

It was a really nice hotel - very comfy beds.

Jason sent me some more pictures throughout the day.

He took Eden to the store.

Took her to the park to play.

Freya made this whole set up for Ivy.

She made a play fort too.

Jason is getting to spend lots of time with them while I'm away.
