Weigh In Day (Sept.22, 2025)

Today was weigh in day.

I did really good all week long tracking my points and staying on plan until I got to the weekend then things went sideways. 

It showed on the scale.
I was 231.4 lbs
I never thought I'd ever be here at this weight again but here I am.

I'm up 2 lbs since last week.

I don't know why I'm struggling so much to stay on plan.
Part of me is tired of worrying about it and wishes I didn't care but I do care, I want to be the healthiest version of me that I can be so I'm not giving up.
I'm just going to keep on trying.
If at first you don't succeed, try try again - Right?!

It was an ok day outside and I could have went for a walk but I want to get back to running so I decided to hop on the treadmill instead.
My goal was to run for 40 minutes and I did that.

I didn't push myself as hard ad I could have because I just wanted to get the 40 minutes in without stopping.
I got that under my belt so tomorrow I'll push a bit harder, maybe make a 5k run my goal.

I gave Morgan some purple potatoes that I had and she made it into Sheppard's pie - she said she was calling it alien pie.
She said it still tasted good.

Trump announced today something about Tylenol causing Autism - with no medical studies either mind you, just a feeling or something.
So dangerous for the Autism community and the folks at Tylenol must be flipping their lid.
That man will truly just say anything, he just doesn't care.

When I got home, I finished my reupholstering job on my little stool.

It's not perfect but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Then I made a big bowl of chickie chickie salad for supper.
I saw a TikTok video and the girl made this salad with canned chicken breast from Costco and she called the chicken 'chickie chickie' thus the name I came up with.
She dumped a bunch of stuff into it and I don't remember what exactly and I couldn't find the video so I just made my own version.

Along with the Chicken I added:
celery
canned corn
frozen peas
carrots
green onion
red onion
black beans
chick peas
chopped pecans
cottage cheese
paprika
onion powder
garlic powder
celery salt
light mayo
salt & pepper

It is so delicious and filling and barely any points on Weight Watchers.
I will be making this again and again I'm sure.

It was a quiet evening, I just worked on my blog.
Trying really hard to get caught up.
