I woke up early before everyone else and decided to go out for a walk.
I don't think I've ever seen a hallway this wide in a hotel.
Jason sent me another picture of the set up Freya got ready for Ivy.
She left Freya a beautiful drawing.
We weren't exactly sure what the weather was going to be like today - it looked kind of cloudy but it turned out to be a nice day.
Which was good because the plan for today was to go to a water park near Ottawa.
Calypso.
It's Canada's biggest water park.
There is so much to do.
Jen had booked us a cabana so we made our way there first.
We were looking out over the entrance to one of the lazy rivers.
This was our cabana.
It had a mini fridge, a table and four chairs then these three loungers out front.
There was also a curtain that you could close on the cabana to have privacy.
There were a bunch of them all in a row - there was a giant water slide beside us.
The boys will try out the slides later.
But the first thing we wanted to do was try out the lazy river.
It was a really large lazy river and I really enjoyed it.
The boys went on this water slide next.
We decided to try out one of these large water slides.
We had to wait in line for a bit but it was worth it because it was a lot of fun.
We all went together on a giant tube thing - I was nervous but it was just fine.
Then we headed back to the cabana to order some food.
Jen and the boys.
Moi.
Declan.
Jen and Ethan.
Pretty nice place to be.
When you order the food, they deliver it right to your cabana.
We tried out the wave pool, another lazy river which was even more fun and the boys went on a few more slides then we had to head out because the park was closing.
We had a lot of fun, I'd like to come back again sometime and bring the girls.
We stayed in a hotel near Ottawa for the night.
We did a little shopping at a local mall then we picked up some supper and took it back to the room with us.
I had Pad Thai from Thai Express and I had forgotten how much I liked it.
Meanwhile back home, Jason put up a temporary clothesline (our dryer is broken) and I can't wait to dry the sheets on it when I get home.
Miss Eden.
We got some hail and Jason was able to test out the car cover he bought.
He said it was a difficult to get it on the car but it did do the trick.
