First Weigh In Since Starting WW (Again). (Apr.27, 2020)

Getting back to my Monday weigh ins even though I only really started following Weight Watchers a couple days ago.

I was down 5 lbs so not too shabby.

My Honey boiled up some eggs yesterday so I had a couple of those for breakfast along with turkey pepperoni, cucumber and an orange.
It'a a pretty looking plate and I munched on it while I was working away in my office.

It was a pretty uneventful day at work and home.
I hopped on the treadmill here and there throughout the day then for a time after work because the episode of Parenthood that I was watching was good and I wanted to finish it.

I had leftovers for supper.
Potatoes, brussel sprouts, salsa chicken, bean sprouts....all kinds of good stuff.

I'm still doing really well with my Weight Watchers tracking and My Honey started tracking today too.
He agreed to try the program out with me which is so good of him and I appreciate it so much.
He said that he actually likes tracking his points so far so that's good.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy.

Catching Up with Family (Apr.26, 2020)

I got up this morning, made myself a coffee and sat down and watched a couple episodes of Outlander.
I have a bunch of episodes PVR'd that I've been meaning to watch for a while.
It can be kind of gruesome at times so I kind of need to be in a certain mode to watch them.
It is so good though, I love the books and I can't wait for the next one to be released.

I made myself a healthy breakfast plate to munch on while I was watching it.

After a couple of episodes I decided to do something a bit more constructive and got a coat of stain on some scraps of wood.

Miss H shared a memory that popped up on her Facebook - pictures of Miss Z.

They were nice to see - I haven't seen her cute little self in so long, I miss her.

It's so nice to see the relationship these two sisters have.

Aww.

In other news, my niece, Miss M, posted some pictures of her own.
She & her honey welcomed a new member to their family today.

They went and got themselves a hairless cat.
I must admit that I find them very ugly looking but friends of ours have one and when we were visiting one time, she sat in my lap and cuddled with me the whole entire time.
Her skin was so soft and they hate being cold so they are very cuddly.

I look forward to meeting him.

My brother texted me the other day to say that the kids were really missing me and I was really missing them too so I went over there today for a bit to visit them.
I would have liked to take them somewhere but nothing is open so there isn't really any where to go.

I brought them over some sour patch cookies for a treat.
Mr H was inspecting them.
He didn't waste any time opening them and giving them a try.

I stayed and visited for a couple of hours.
It was good to catch up.

I asked him to smile nice for a picture, this is what I got.

Such a goofball.

Now Miss A is joining in the silliness.

Her mom put some nails on her while I was there.

Kids just grow up so fast, before you know it, the teenage years are going to be here.
She's really missing her friends during this whole pandemic/social distancing but she is excelling at home schooling her mom says.
That's awesome, she is a very smart girl!

When I was leaving, Mr H ran and got this picture he made for me.
It even has a stand taped on the back so it can be displayed like a regular frame.

When I got home, I had to spend over an hour on the treadmill to get my steps up as I'd barely gotten any others in throughout the course of the day.
I only made it to 9000 then I called it quits, I'll get the rest of my steps just walking around upstairs and if I have to go out for a little walk, I will.

I cooked salsa chicken in the slow cooker for supper than I added a bunch of low point goodies on top for a wonderful, delicious, filling supper.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!

A Day with My Girl (Apr. 25, 2020)

It's the weekend!!!
Most of the days have been feeling the same around here but at least on the weekend I can work on fun stuff when I get up instead of work stuff.

I made these little signs today, I'm quite happy with how they turned out.

These are a bunch of the snowflakes I've been making.
I wanted to send a picture to BH to let her know that all the scrap wood she & her hubby gave me is going to good use!

My son asked if I could babysit today while they went to WCT to get groceries and of course I said yes.
She wasn't very happy when she saw mom & dad getting their coats and shoes on and ran and got hers too.

She cried for a minute when she realized they were leaving without her but not for long.
I pulled her around the neighborhood for about an hour in her wagon and she enjoyed that.
She loves being outdoors.

I probably would have kept going so I could get all my steps in but that wagon was heavy to pull and this chickie got tired.

I figured out how to work the tv when we got home and put some Dora the Explorer on for her.

It's one of her favorites right now along with Sesame Street.
She's a big Elmo fan.

She kept pointing to my pony tail then to her own head.

I took that to mean that she wanted a ponytail too so I took my elastic out and put it on her.

Guess that was exactly what she wanted - she was all smiles.

My goodness to I ever adore this little human.

She had some of her favorite snacks while watching her show.
Going to take after her Grandma I think - likes the salty snacks.
She especially loves chips but I still worry a bit that she might choke on them.

Just chilling with some cheesies.

Grandma why you always taking my picture?

The side eye master!

Her and Louie bonding.

Having a yogurt snack.
She started off using a spoon but soon moved on to pouring the yogurt directly from the container into her mouth all over her face.

I got a cloth to clean it but she didn't want to until I showed her in the camera how messy she was.
Then she had to do it herself, I wasn't allowed to help.
It briefly turned into a game of Peek a boo.

She did a pretty good job, got the highchair all cleaned up too.

Cleaning up is tough work, tuckers a person out.

A new episode of Dora started, when the theme song is playing, she is completely focused on that and nothing else.

After snacks, she and I colored and played with play dough.

I just love her hair up in a pony, it looks so dang cute.

She colored my nails for me with the markers, she didn't get any on my fingers, just that nails, that's pretty darn good.

I loved spending the day with her and look forward to many more days just like this one in the future.

When I got home, I had to get on the treadmill to get the rest of my 10,000 steps.
It only took about 40 minutes so not too bad.
I got to catch up with the Braverman clan so I kind of enjoyed it.

Workout complete.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
