Happy Birthday Sissy! (June 22, 2019)

I had made appointments for pedicures for myself, my niece (Miss M) and my DIL (Miss H) in WCT this morning.
They were only at 11:30 but I wanted to get on the road early so we could do a few other things.

My Honey needed some more construction adhesive so I ran out to the garage and took a picture so I'd know what kind to pick up.

He sent me the same picture minutes later, ha ha.

Today was Lemonade Day here in Alberta - our small town was taking part along with all kinds of other towns across Northern Alberta.
It's teaches kids about running a business and what it involves.
It was starting at 9 and going until 5 today.

I saw some of the kids were starting to get set up.

The kids had to set up businesses at the town office then get permission to set up in front of businesses in town or wherever they chose.
This business allowed two groups to set up out front.

I picked up Miss M, then Miss H and Baby F.
My son had to go to work and he is expected back in an hour so we decided to wait for him.
Kind of hard to get a pedicure when you are trying to watch a baby.

Baby F looked so cute this morning with her little pony tails and overall shorts.
Her and her mommy were matching.
She turned 10 months old today.
Time sure is flying by!

Little Jay's was open for business so we purchased our first cup of lemonade for the day.

Then just around the corner, we got our second cup.

Miss A was running one too.
Luckily they got set up and I was able to buy some lemonade from them before I left.
I'm hoping to get back to go to a few more but you just never know how the day is going to go.

I thought they looked adorable with their unicorn hats on.

Everyone wore their tie dye shirts too to match the theme of the booth.

They boiled cabbage for theirs to make different colors.
The cabbage water is heavier so it stays at the bottom but it doesn't taste any different.
Pretty cool.

More booths were setting up but they weren't open for business yet so we headed over to the house to wait for my son to get home.

Baby F had a snack while were were there.

She reminds me of Pebbles from the Flintstones with her little pony tail.

"Really Grandma, do you have to take so many pictures?"

Being cute is oh so hard!

My son got home just after 10 so we headed out.
He came with us and brought the stroller.

While the girls and I got pedicures, he took the baby for a walk.

I wanted a nice bright color for summer so I got this bright orange.
I haven't been getting a design lately but today decided to get a chevron pattern.
She had a really hard time with it though so in the end I told her just to go with polka dots.
I'm happy with it.

Miss H got sunflowers, I think they look great.

Miss M went for a feathery looking design.
She wanted leopard print on the edges but that proved to be too difficult as well.

After nails we went to the second hand store.
I got some outfits for Baby F and the girls had fun trying on wedding veils.
It's so nice that the two of them are such great friends.

After that, we went for something to eat.

Baby F was trying to share her spoon with Miss M.

Mommy brought snacks for her and she was eating them two at a time.

You want some Miss M?

Trying to decide what they wanted.

My niece's hotpot looked delicious.

He settled on a stir fry.

She ran out of snacks so just chewed on the spoon.

I got this chicken curry soup that I love.
I couldn't finish so ended up taking some home for My Honey.

It was nice to get to spend some time with them out and about.

She was really trying to get a hold of her dad's plate.

My boy and his baby.

She was making her silly faces again - it's so funny when she gets doing it.

My Honey was at work and he was excited because he found some more pallets to break down.

He also found some Stranger Things 3 ice cream he said we'll have to try out when we go to New York next week.

We made a few other stops and by the time we got home it was 5 pm so all the lemonade stands were shut down.

I'm so glad I was able to get to Miss A's before I left.

In other new, my baby sister turned 40 today!
Doesn't she look fabulous for 40?

I really wish I could have been there to do something special with her to celebrate the day.
I talked to her and she said she and her boys were going to go for dinner and a movie.

I had a nice long hot bath when I got home today.
I read for awhile and was still in there when My Honey got home.

I noticed that Bohemian Rhapsody was the .99 cent rental on Itunes this week so I rented it for us to watch.
I've been wanting to watch it for a while now.
I enjoyed it a lot.

We went to bed early because I told Miss M that I'd take her shopping in the city tomorrow and I wanted to get an early start.

Didn't get enough moving in today.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
