Well it was a quick trip and we are heading back home today.
Our flight leaves at 1 pm so we didn't have to get up super early and rush to the airport which I liked.
This is some shots of our room before we left.
It had a nice living room area.
A kitchen.
Then the bedroom and the bathroom was just off of that.
A really nice room and in a really great spot.
We took the UP train from Union Station back to the airport - It's so slick and easy - I'm sure we will come to Toronto again.
We hadn't eaten so once we got checked in through security, we found a spot to get some lunch.
I had a pesto chicken club sandwich and it was delicious.
Jason had fish tacos which were also tasty.
We walked around the airport a bit just so I could get some steps in.
When we went to the gate, we ended up running into a couple from town, Neale and Carrie - they were in Niagara Falls for the weekend.
Our flight was about 40 minutes late taking off which is not too bad.
It was closer to 4 when we landed in Edmonton.
The weather was pretty nice.
We stopped at Winners and got a few little gifts for Freya and then we had supper at Opa's before heading home.
Freya wanted us to come pick her up for a sleepover so we did - it was around 8:45 when we got there.
We miss our little sweetheart so much when we are away so we were both super happy to see her.
