We switched over to a new Learning Management System and so I've been flat out trying to get training rules created in there.
We don't have a lot of experience so we have office hours with the support from Oracle every afternoon for a couple hours so that takes up a lot of time.
We are making our way slowly but I think the complete transfer is going to take much longer than first expected.
I was on the phone again with Nissan to see if they'd let me get my car fixed her - they wouldn't.
They still insisted that they would only pay for the first 100k.
I ended up calling the Nissan dealer where I purchased the car and spoke to the fellow there - he agreed that they should be covering to get my car towed the whole way so he said to leave it with him and he was going to go to bat for me.
I hopped on the treadmill after work to get my steps in - I just walked.
I want to get back to running but am having a hard time making myself do it.
I do have faith that I'll get there eventually
In the meantime though, walking is better than doing nothing at all.
Jason came over to hang out for a bit with Jason today, she was still there when I got home which was nice.
I always love seeing her.
She really wanted to go roller skating but there's still too much snow outside so she just did it inside instead.
Just having a break.
She got her little doll all set up in the chair so she could hang out and watch Freya roller skate.
I'm so mad about the service that I'm NOT getting from Nissan Roadside Assistance that I'm thinking about trading it in once it's fixed.
So I have been doing some research on vehicles.
I think I'd like to go with something bigger that what I have now.
I'm thinking of a Ford Explorer or maybe a Kia Telluride.
Shennelle said she looked at the Telluride and loved it and Bonnie used to have an Explorer, I drove it a few times and I loved it.
We figured out that if we keep our foot on the gas of the car, it will stay running so I was able to get it down to the mechanic shop here in town and he put his code reader on it.
He wasn't sure he would be able to get it to work but it did and he said that the issue is the Mass Airflow Sensor.
He suggested I called Nissan again tomorrow to see if they'll give me permission to have him fix it here, he said it's a pretty easy fix so I think I will do that tomorrow.
Video call with the girls.
Freya was putting filters on - Eden looked so funny,
They ended up coming over for a visit.
She loves this little chair.
She wasn't feeling very good so she wanted to snuggle and she fell asleep almost immediately.
I was happy to get lots of snuggles in.
My sweet girl.
After a little nap, she got her second wind.
Waiting to hear her song.
Freya did my makeup again - she made me a pirate today.
She's very creative.
Her haircut looks so good on her.
When Kody got home from work he came and picked up Eden but Freya ended up spending the night.
I did lots of walking around the house to get my steps in.
Freya called me at lunch time today - a video call.
She got her haircut and she was so excited to show me.
I stopped over there to see her and it just looks so good on her.
It makes her look so grown up!
I noticed on my warranty for my car that it said that they would cover the towing for up to 250km so I called Nissan Roadside assistance again today but they argued with me and still refuse to tow it and cover all of the cost.
I was furious about it - Jason said to just leave it until he goes on days off then we'll figure out something.
I hopped on the treadmill after work to get in my steps.
Still getting it done.
Wild Rivers is coming to Edmonton and I really want to see them.
Jason is working that day but I finally convinced him to leave early that one day and come with me.
The moment he agreed, I went and bought us tickets.
The car still isn't working so Jason got his old truck going so that I could have his new truck to take back and forth to work.
We went out for lunch today to celebrate Shennelle's birthday.
Shennelle and I.
Bonnie.
I had an eye exam after work today in Barrhead and I picked out some new glasses for myself.
Since I can't see that great without my glasses on, I had to take pictures of myself with all the contenders so that I could see how they looked.
I tried some darker colors and different shapes.
I feel like these were dark and I wasn't sure about them but I ended up choosing them for my computer glasses.
These were too big.
These were ok.
Also too big.
I tend to gravitate more towards the rectangular shaped ones.
I did like these.
I wasn't sure about the color.
I did like these ones.
I ended up choosing this pair for everyday.
I ended up picking out three pairs, one for everyday, one for the computer (I've been struggling to see the computer lately) then I also treated myself to a pair of prescription sunglasses which I've never owned before.
When I got back home, I had to hop on the treadmill to get the rest of my steps in.
The picture did that strange thing again where it showed the time when I snapped the photo but it faded or something and I didn't notice.
I ran (slowly) but I managed to get 5k done.
I got super sweaty but it was such a good feeling to be running again.
