Back to School in NS (Sept.5, 2019)

I really wanted to weigh in today but I didn't.
I figured if I did and I didn't see the change that I would like to, that I would use that as an excuse to go off the rails tonight.

It was a busy day at work - we've been having computer issues for the last few days and they finally kind of got them resolved which was nice.

It's frustrating when things aren't working or they are extra slow.

My sister sent pictures of the boys first thing this morning.
My nephews were back to school today in NS.
They look pretty happy about it too!

They are getting so grown up.

My Honey sent me this picture of the kitties cuddling this morning.

Professor Snuggles has a new favorite spot, on the back of our love seat.
I'm so thankful I covered it with a blanket because he sleeps there constantly and it's just covered with his black hair.

After work today, My Honey and I headed to WCT.
I had a cleaning at the Dentist scheduled for 6 pm
While I was having my cleaning done, he walked around town to try to get more steps.

I found out I have four cavities and another two old fillings that need replaced.
WHAT THE &*#$!
I'm was disappointed but I guess stuff happens.\
At least I'm able to get them fixed.
That means a few more trips to the dentist for me this year.

After the dentist, we picked up some groceries then headed to the casino for some supper.

I had a delicious salad.
It was a bit watery but still good.

My Honey had the Casino Burger - doesn't it look good.
Full Disclosure - I had a bite and I may have eaten a few of his French fries too!

We each threw $20.00 into the slot machines.
I was winning a bit at first, got up to $40.00 but then I just came crashing back down so when I got back to my original $20.00 I cashed out.
So I didn't win big bucks, but I didn't lose either.
Was entertained a bit so all in all, I consider that a win.

I saw an article about this on Facebook today.

This is in our little town here, a sculpture of a swan protecting her young from a grizzly.
I've never actually stopped by it and properly looked at it.
I should one of these days.

This made me giggle.

What a great sign - I love it.

I saw this on Social Media too and thought My Honey could try it out for his pumpkin this year.

I didn't get a workout in this morning but I did work really hard at getting steps in today.
Proud of me!

That is all for today, until next time, be happy.
