Jack Frost has Arrived! (Sept.27, 2019)

I weighed in this morning because I'm going away next week and I just wanted to know where I am before we go.

Guess what that is on the ground.
If you guessed frost, you would be correct.
And I picked today of all days to go back to my flip flops.

Needless to say, the walk to the road was a chilly one for my toes but aside from that, it felt good.

My Honey asked me to stop and pick up some stain for him for a project.
I couldn't decide which one so I sent him all the options.
He ended up picking a different one called 'fruitwood'.

I stopped by to see Baby F.

Miss Z was there visiting.

I took this picture of the three of them and Miss Z asked to see it.
She liked it so much she asked me to send it to her dad (so I did).

Big smiles are becoming the regular over here.

She's so pleasant and happy - makes me happy.

We had a dance party in the living room.

She just loves that car.

She loves the phone/camera too.

CHEESE!

Selfie with Grandma.

Miss Z wanted in on the action.

Being silly.

Miss Z likes the camera/phone just as much as Baby F.

As soon as her mom finished getting supper ready and sat on the couch, Baby F had to get right up there with her.

Ha Ha - more silly faces for the camera.
We were having quite the photo shoot today.

This is her version of posing!

Then Miss Z wanted to take some pictures of me.
She took about 50 but I'll spare you and just leave the one here.

This little family loves to snuggle together.

Those gorgeous eyes though!

Getting her sissy to play her favorite song.

This is when the dance party was getting good.

Dance Break!

I left close around 6 so I could stop by the store to get something for supper.
I decided to make clam chowder and it was delicious if I do say so myself.

While it was cooking, I got a couple more pages done in my 50 Goals by 50 book.

I'm not the greatest artist so stick people it will have to be.

Hopefully this one will be getting checked off the list next week in Albuquerque!

Miss H posted these great shots of Baby F eating supper.

Whatever they are having, she is loving!

My sister posted this picture of Mr.E being an AESOP.
It's military jargon and I have no idea what it means, but just wanted to share this picture of my handsome nephew.

I spoke with her today and she said she's going to try to get posted back out to Alberta.
I sure hope she does - I would love to be able to see her and the boys more often.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!

Sign Class! (Sept.26, 2019)

Walk number one this morning, it was just getting light out and it was rather chilly - hence the red cheeks.

Walk number two - a little lighter but not much.

It was kind of a dark and ominous day out there.

There are barely any leaves left on the trees by our office.

Looks like there are still plenty left on the hill though.

My Niece and I signed up to do a sign making class at the golf course tonight so we headed out there a bit early to have some supper.

I had one last taco salad as the golf course will be closing for the winter on Monday so this will likely be my last time eating out here this season.

After we ate, we got started on weeding out the stencils for the project.

BH came and brought her eldest granddaughter too.
Her daughter just had surgery this week so she's had all three of her granddaughters staying with her for a few nights.

The weeding took a lot longer than we all expected it too.
We got it done though.

Then it was on to painting.

The project I picked didn't have stencils so I just sat back and painted my blocks while everyone else painted in there stencils.

Miss J was done in record time - she really enjoyed it too.

Miss M was being very particular.

She let her creative flag fly high and painted hers three different colors.

It's looking good.

BH & Miss J with their finished signs.

Miss M with hers.

I wanted to have a picture with me as well, so I held up my unfinished project.
I want to sand them some more and it was making such a big mess that I decided to wait until I got home to finish up.

The paint class went longer than I thought it would but we all enjoyed it and I'm sure we'll do another.

While I was sitting there waiting for paint to dry, I was looking at some project ideas for the wood that I have.
These are a few that I really liked.

I think this one would be simple to do, and pretty too.

Another simple one.

Not hard to tell I have a thing for trees is it.

I really liked this simple tree too.
Should be so easy to do.

This pattern would be easy to tape off, now to just get My Honey to cut a few of these out for me.

This looks kind of like a sweater pattern, it's awesome.

They look even better when they are all grouped together.

The same idea but in an Autumn theme.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
