Pool Day (June 1, 2025)

It was after midnight when I went to bed but I just could not sleep so I ended up getting back up and work on this puzzle all night until I finished.

I think it was somewhere around 4 am in the morning when I finally finished.

I really enjoyed doing this puzzle.

I like the picture and I liked the quality of the puzzle pieces - they were thick and glossy and nice to work with.

I went to bed when I finished and got in a couple hours before I got up for the rest of the day.

I was expecting to be really tired all day but I wasn't at all.

I didn't feel like driving to Whitecourt today but Freya and I did go to Barrhead and I took her swimming at the pool there.

She met a girl there from Swan Hills (Olivia) that was a bit older but they played together for hours.

The girl was so good with her and they played together so well, it was nice to see.

It was another grey, cloudy day.

We barely got any rain even though it looked like we were going to get lots.

It's still pretty here even in the gloomy weather.

I wouldn't mind have a place like this on a lake - it would be preferable if you could actually swim in the lake - maybe someday.

Like what a view to wake up to every morning, rain or shine?

I love the openness of the space here.
I would love being able to have all my family over to a place like this.

There is so much room.

Look at how big the loft area is - all the kids could sleep up here no problem.

It has some side windows and then the windows that look out toward the lake are so tall that you can see them from the loft as well.

This is the bed Zepplyn slept in when she stayed.

Miss Hazel went up there, came through the rail then couldn't figure out how to get back and ended up jumping down to the floor.
We tried to catch her because it was quite a drop but we weren't quick enough.
She was ok.

There is a big dining room with a large table - just a great gathering space.

Looks like the sun was trying to come out.

We didn't get much rain at all neither did they get any back in Swan Hills so the fire is still considered to be out of control but has not turned toward the town luckily.

That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
