I love having the girls over and being able to spend as much time with them as I can but not going to lie, it was not a very comfortable sleep last night for me.
I slept in between the girls and both of the were snugged right up to me which I love so much but also, is not the most conducive to a good sleep.
Plus poor little Eden caught a bit of a bug and she was up many times throughout the night with these really extreme fits of coughing, so bad I thought it was going to make her vomit.
She did not but I don't think she had the best sleep either.
She was sleeping good this morning though, both of them didn't budge when I snuck out of bed to get ready for work.
I did run home to drive Freya to school after Jason got her ready just so he wouldn't have to drag Eden along.
Then Kody did come pick Eden up not much later so that Jason could get out for his run.

Some really dark clouds rolled in just before lunch time and there was some thunder and lightning so I decided to just go on the treadmill again.
I ran 5k again at a speed of 4.0 and then bumped it up a little at the end, even did a minute at 4.8.
It was really hard, but I did it.
I was soaked in sweat but felt awesome!
After work I finally was able to sit down and do a puzzle.
I love these puzzles - I checked to see if there was another version of these but I can't find any.
I worked on the books for Mission Possible because I have a meeting tomorrow night and I've been putting it off since November.
It actually didn't take me long at all and I love doing that kind of stuff so it was kind of fun.
The fisheries in Tignish, PEI which is where my Mom is from, is celebrating their 100th anniversary, so my aunt was looking for some pictures.
My mother went through a bunch of my albums to see what she could find and then I scanned them all to send to her.
I just thought they would be fun to share them here.
I come from a family of fisherman so we went for many sails over the course of my lifetime and I they make up some of my best memories.
Just being on the water, surrounded by my family - the people that I love dearly - having fun just being together.
Those days were the best.
My Aunt Marle checking the lobster trap.
Searching for sharks.
The whole family out for a sail, my grandmother even came out for this one, she at the back right there with the white baseball cap and white top.
My cousins Rodney and Jamie.
My Aunt Betty pretending she's King (or Queen) of the world.
I just took pictures right from my photo album.
They had a boat parade when they did the blessing of the boat and we decorated the boat up.
Our family went with the Canada Day theme.
Lots of other boats were decorated too.
When we go with a theme - we go all in.
That's my son Kody sitting on the chair with the lifejacket on, he would have been about 7 years old and that's my sister Jennifer sitting on the side of the boat in front of him.
We were in my Uncle Gerald's boat and we won for best decorations.
This is an oldie.
This is my grandfather and his neighbor, Albinus.
They used to sit on the grass together like this and talk for hours.
They'd get up and move to another spot in the yard and sit there and just do that all day.
So they'd usually go through several spots throughout the course of the day, you'd look out and they'd be by the barn, next time they'd be under the boat, then they'd be by the driveway.
Don't know if they were chasing the shade or just needed to stretch.
Kind of a fun thing to remember.
This is my the barns at my grandparents and that is my dad standing in front of the barn with one of my brothers, likely Adrien.
My cousin Rodney by all the traps on setting day.
Another themed family sail.
This time it was Christmas in July with The Dicks (which is my family's nickname).
'Santa' and my Uncle Jimmy.
My cousin Tara played Santa - she did a great job.
We even had a fireplace with stockings.
Kody having a nap.
I used to love going out for a sale every time I went to PEI - I'd still love it, we just don't get to do it as much.
Mom, me, Kody and Jimmy Lea (my cousins son that Kody used to claim was his brother when he was younger).
Kody at the helm.
My Aunties Brenda, Arlene and Mom.
Just a view of the boat from on top of the cab.
I have a huge family.
The other side of the boat.
Mom and her boyfriend at the time Donnie.
This was another sail that we went on, it's my sister, my Auntie Janet in the center and then my Mom on the right.
My Uncle Gerald.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
