We kind of suspected it yesterday but today we got the official word...
We are allowed to go home!
We had to be checked out by 11 so we were up, got ready and once we got the cats packed into the car, we just headed straight for home since they hate being in the car.
They had a Welcome Home sign at the entrance to town and then when we went around the corner, a bunch of the town workers, fire fighters and other various volunteers that had stayed in town to keep it safe for us were all lined up along either side of the street waving to us and welcoming us back home.
I wish I'd taken a video or a picture of it because I just thought it was so nice.
It made me a little emotional even.
Freya made this gift for her friend and asked for some money to put in it.
She wanted to give it to her friend so she would remember her when she moves.
After we got all unpacked, we took the girls for a walk down to the park.
Freya loves playing on the monkey bars and these things move back and forth so they are hard to cross but she's gotten really good at that too.
Very impressive.
Playing at the park is something that she really enjoys.
I think Eden likes this swing a bit better than the one she was on in Whitecourt.

She can be such a little goof.
She figured out how to climb up and down inside the tunnels and so she wants to go it all the time.
She would go up.
And then she would come back down.

It's hard to get a front on picture of her because she is always on the move but we got a good one.
She spent a lot of time in there.
She's getting very brave.

She was having a grand time.
My Aunt Betty sent this to me to pass along to my mom.
