The girls slept in this morning and missed the bus so Haylee called me to see if I could come get Freya and take her to school.
She had a big surprise for me when I got there!
Her hair was dyed green and purple.
It looks cute on her.
I drove mom to a hair appointment at noon and told her to call me if she needed a drive home so instead of going out for a run and being stuck somewhere along my route when she called, I just hopped on the treadmill.
I did 5k - I ran at a speed of 4.0 or more the whole time.
I wanted to slow it down a couple times but I didn't, I stuck with it and I did it.
I was super soaked when I was done.
Feeling very proud.
I was really looking forward to doing a puzzle after work but Haylee called and asked if I could watch the girls while she went out to watch the hockey game.
It's game 6 of the Stanley Cup final - Edmonton vs Florida.
Florida is winning the series 3-2 so if they win tonight that's it.
So she brought the girls over and that was pretty much my night.
Eden isn't feeling the best, she has quite the cough.
She wanted to go outside so we did and sat on the swing, she likes it.
Making faces for the camera.
She was dragging her bubba around with her just like Freya used to do.
She's getting chattier, saying more words, she has to be in the mood though.
She can say Papa and Sissy no problem.
Such a cutie.
When Jason got home, we took the girls down to the park for a walk.
Eden was just loving the swing tonight, we'd ask her if she wanted to get out and she kept shaking her head 'no'.
Wheeeeee!
We took them for ice creams after then walked back home.
Eden fell asleep not long after we got home - she'd keep coughing and waking herself up - poor little thing.
Kody called to say that he was going to be quite late getting home tonight so we told him we'd just keep the girls for the night, and we put Eden to bed.
So no puzzle for me tonight but I did get to hang with my two favorite girls in the whole world - nothing beats that!
Freya just rocking her new do.
Edmonton ended up losing the game so that's a wrap for this year.
I'm disappointed for them - I had hoped they would win, maybe next year.
That is all for today, until next time, be happy!
