We were up early this morning and headed out for a run/walk.
We headed toward Rotary Park and followed the trail from there as far as it went.
Looked like someone was proposed to.
Funny Story - Jason posted this picture on his Instagram with a few other pictures from the run and Crystal saw it and thought that he'd proposed to me.
Ha ha.
There were some geese and their little babies on the river.
It was such a gorgeous morning.

I love getting out early and enjoying the fresh air and the sunshine.
Also, the trees are all in bloom and it looks so nice.
Gorgeous.
Look at all of those lilacs.
Some pretty wildflowers.
Jason found an airbnb on Lac La Nonne for us to stay at for the next few days so we got packed up and checked out and headed over there.
We wanted to be close to the kids in Barrhead so we could visit them if we wanted.
The house we'd rented was a big log house - this is the kitchen.
This is looking back at the kitchen, dining room and the loft upstairs.
Then this was looking out at the lake.
What a view.
This was the view outside, we were right on the lake.
After we got settled in, we called the kids to see how they were doing, we wanted to go visit the girls.
They told us that they'd decided to leave Barrhead and go to Whitecourt - it was too crowded at Rita's so they put the dogs in a kennel and got a hotel room.
So we headed back to Whitecourt (which was an hour and twenty minute drive) so we could see the girls.
We also picked up a few groceries while we were there.
We picked up the girls, Eden, Freya and Zepplyn, and took them all back to the lake house with us for the night.
Jason got Eden some blocks and they built towers together which she would then promptly knock over.
(Freya used to do the same thing too).
Zepplyn.
Checking out the lake.
It was so pretty, unfortunately it had a bunch of green slime in it so not really conducive to swimming.
There was a nice big lawn that they could run around on.
Eden was having a blast - she loves being outside.
She REALLY wanted to go up those stairs to the look out deck - the other girls were on guard until I could get there and take her up.
The lake was so calm and still.
It looked so pretty.
This is looking back at the house.
When we got up the stairs to the look out deck, she wanted to sit up on the chair that Mom hauled up there.
I think it made her feel like a big girl.
I tried to carry her down the stairs but she wasn't having it.
She wanted to walk down all on her own.
I think she was amazed that she could reach out and touch the roof of the shed.
Sitting on the swing.
Oh - Papa got her!
She loves everyone!
It was late when we finally got the girls settled.
The loft had a single bed, a double bed and a fold out couch.
Mom called the single bed because the double one was too high for her.
Zepplyn wanted the double bed and she wanted to sleep in it alone so I made up the fold out couch for Freya.
She didn't want to be alone though so I laid up there with her for a bit but in the end, we both went down and got in bed with Jason and Eden.
It was only a double bed so it was kind of tight but we managed.
Jason is off to work in the morning so I'll have to figure out how to entertain all these girls by myself.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
