Freya and I were back on the road this morning heading back to Whitecourt for a visit.
We went to the second hand store and did some shopping, I got a bunch of stuff for Eden.
We went to Rotary Park afterwards - everyone from Swan Hills was having a meet up there to let the kids hang out and play together.
It was kind of a grey day but at least it wasn't raining.
Quite a few people from Swan Hills did show up and the kids had fun being together and running of some energy.
Freya was starting to get hungry so I ordered us a pizza for supper.
Dominos has this cracker thin crust pizza they just came out with and I just love it.
We went to Walmart again to do some more shopping - Freya wanted some skin care and make up.
She also wanted to come back to the lake again with me so after our shopping, we headed out.
She couldn't wait until we got home to use her face mask and she changed into her new pajamas she just got too.
Aaaah, the life of luxury.
It was grey and dreary back at the lake.
The water was pretty rough too, the roughest we've seen it since we've been here.
It was super windy too but still warm.
It feels like it might rain - hopefully we get some on the fire back home.
There was a mama duck out on the water with a bunch of ducklings.
The water was so rough I was worried for them but they know how to maneuver the water, they are ducks after all!
We spent the rest of the evening inside, Freya and Jason played together and I worked on a puzzle.
I worked on it until after midnight and realized afterward that I hadn't made my step count for the day.
I wasn't even very close this time but was so focused on the puzzle that I didn't even think about it.
I can't believe I did that again!
Twice in one week.
I won't let it happen again!
