Dog on the Loose (May 21, 2025)

We had a work meeting in Westlock today so Bonnie and I headed there around 10 am.

 

Jason was off today and sent me this cute picture he took of Hazel this morning.

They had a 50/50 draw at our meeting - they do it every year to raise money for charity.

Blair couldn't go to the meeting so gave me money to get him tickets - I took pictures to prove that I got them.

The lady who bought tickets in line right before me ended up winning.

Jason picked up Eden to spend some time with her and took her to the store.

I love her little rain jacket.

After the meeting, Bonnie and I popped into St Albert for a few things then on our way home from the there were a couple of cars pulled over on the highway and a dog in the middle of the road.

One of the cars ended up being a cop, a few people had called in about the dog so he was there trying to get it but the dog just would not get in with him.

He seemed older (the dog) and lame and there were no houses nearby so it was strange that he was there.

I felt bad for him but there wasn't much we could do so we carried on.

I walked on the treadmill until I got to my 12,000 steps.

It was the last thing I wanted to do when I got home but I felt so good when I got it done.
