First Weekend with Both Girls was a Success! (June 22, 2025)

 Eden was up early this morning so Jason didn't get out for a run, instead we just laid and snuggled with her until she just wanted out of bed.

Jason took her for a walk around the hotel and I hopped back in bed with Freya to snuggle with her until she woke up.

I don't know how much time I have before she won't want to snuggle with me anymore so I need to soak it all in while I still can.

Then Freya wanted to go swimming one more time so Jason took her.

Eden wouldn't let me put her bathing suit on her, so I figured we'd just go and watch Jason and Freya in the pool but Eden wouldn't even go in the pool area.

So I took her to the breakfast - got her some sausages and we sat on the picnic table outside to eat them.

Then we walked around the hotel some more and just kind of passed the time until Jason and Freya were done.

After we checked out, we made a couple stops at stores but the girls were really over it, especially Freya.

I had to make a stop at Walmart and she did NOT want to go.

She had to of course and it ended up being fine but we made no more stops after that, just headed for home.

Eden fell asleep almost immediately and slept pretty much the whole way home.

Freya fell asleep not long after her.

She also slept pretty much until we hit Swan Hills.

She got another new outfit today and again had to change into it right away.

She's really becoming a fashionista - she knows just what she likes.

We took the girls straight home - they were missing mom and dad I think,

After we unpacked, Jason headed out for a run and I headed out for a walk.

I did a 5k walk - Jason met up with me after he finished his 10k run and we walked home together.

I remembered right at the end to give my sister a call for her birthday - caught her just before she went to bed.

Then we just had a quiet evening, went to bed fairly early - it's back to work in the am for me.
