The Kids are off to California (April 17, 2025)

The kids are heading to California today so I popped over there this morning to say good bye to them.

They are going to be gone for 10 days.

I'm going to miss the girls so much but I hope they have the best time.

Freya had just woken up when I got there and she was kind of in a mood.

She didn't want to have to wait to go, she wanted to go NOW.

We were trying to explain that the plane leaves when it leaves, we can't change that but she didn't get it.

They woke Eden up after I got there, she was in a good mood. 

I helped Freya get dressed and brushed her hair and I think she was starting to feel better.

She is just too stinking cute!

As soon as they put her shoes on she wanted to go outside.

She loves the outdoors.

So while Kody and Haylee finished packing up, I took the girls outside to play.

It was a bit chilly out there but that didn't bother Eden in the least.

I got the girls into the car while Kody packed in the suitcases.

I gave the girls lots of hugs and kisses - Freya was fretting a little about missing me but Eden wasn't concerned at all.

I hopped on the treadmill on my lunch hour and walked for just over 40 minutes.

I didn't feel like running today.

It's still activity so it still counts.

In the afternoon Jason sent me a picture of the treat he was having.

A rice cake with cream cheese and sweet potato.

I sent him back a picture of the treat I was having.

I brought the left over carrot cake from my birthday down to the office for the guys and there was one slice left today and I couldn't resist.

It was worth every single calorie.

Tomorrow is Good Friday and the office is closed so I decided to go a little crazy and do one of the puzzles that Rob got me for my birthday.

It was only 500 pieces so I was able to get it finished before I went to bed.

I think it took me around 4 hours to do it.

They made it there safe and sound.

I saw a vlogger use this powder sunscreen and I thought it was a great idea.

I looked it up to buy some and its like 60 bucks so I didn't order it.

If I ever see it for cheaper I think I will get it to try.
