Kody had to be to work early this morning and Haylee doesn't have a vehicle so Haylee asked if I could come take Freya to school.
I don't know why she was all stickered up.
One of our foreman, Bob, is retiring and today was his last day so we had a lunch for him.
We also got him a cake.
We stopped at Haylee's before we left and Eden was just standing in the sun and soaking it up.
Mom came with me as well to the city.
I was so excited but that changed after I got in the room with the financial guy named Edgar.
He was going over everything really fast and then I noticed the amount we had settled on for the trade in was not the amount they had on the paperwork but when I asked him about it he kept evading and giving me different excuses.
I was trying to explain that it was short by a couple thousand but he had this 800 dollar amount and I just felt so frustrated and like I was in the Twilight Zone.
I ended up just signing the papers because Mom and Freya were there and they were closing soon so I just wanted to get out of there but I shouldn't have done that.
In hindsight I wish I hadn't - I really hate dealing with car salesmen and it put a damper on the whole experience which should have been a happy one.
After the paperwork was done, another guy came out and went over all the bells and whistles of the car with me.
It took a long time and he was rushing through also and I'll never remember anything that he said.
I was relived to finally get out of there and I didn't even think to take a picture of myself with the new car because it was just such a crappy experience.
I do love the vehicle though.
It was late when we got back home - Freya ended up spending the night with us.
Jason kept her busy while I went down and hopped on the treadmill because I needed to get more steps in - made it to my 12,000 steps.
I didn't have my phone with me down there though so no pics.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
