I was up early and went to work and once I got there, I decided that I wanted to take the afternoon off.
We are heading to the city for the weekend and the weather is shaping up to be beautiful today so I thought it would be nice if we could get in there early and go for a walk.
When we got to St Albert, we did a bit of shopping then we parked at the mall and went for a walk on the trail by the river.
It was a stunner of a day.
We stopped at the Running Room - I wanted to have a look at the Hoka Clifton 10's
I liked them but they didn't have the color I was interested in.
I ended up trying on a pair of Puma's and I just loved them
They are called Puma MagMax Nitro.
They felt great on and I love the color - they are so pretty.
I can't wait to test them out.
We were starting to get hungry and we walked by a Greek spot - Jason looked it up and it had good ratings so we went in to try it.

We shared a Greek salad.
We also shared a chicken souvlaki wrap.
The food was great - we will absolutely be back!
There was this funky bar next door - check out this door.
We went inside to have a look around - it was packed full with art.
Like this painted piano.
There was a tiny stage for the live performers they have there.
The earrings on Amy Winehouse were real - sticking out from the artwork.
It was top to bottom artwork and color - so funky and fun.
Walking back to the car we came across a Tea place - we've passed by it countless times and I had no idea it existed.
It was so cute inside - I think Freya would totally like it.
We'll have to bring her here.
I got myself a Taro cream cheese milk tea with boba.
It was likely a million calories but it tasted delicious.
We walked back to the car, then went to a Vietnamese spot nearby and shared a Bohn Mi.
I liked it ok - Jason kept getting big bites of grizzle - yuck.
I wanted to go to the Nike outlet to have a look for some Nike Free's.
I have a pair that I just love but I washed them the other day and I shrunk them so now they hurt the toe on my left foot.
On the way there, Freya video messaged us.
They are coming home tomorrow and she wanted to make sure she could spend the night with us when she gets home.
Jason played a couple songs for them and they were dancing on the bed.
So cute - I can't wait to see them.
They get in tomorrow night at 9 pm and we are going to meet them at the airport.
Freya is going to stay in the city for the night with us.
Jason is running a 21k Sunday morning and he signed Freya up to run a 500m.
They didn't have the Nike Free's that I wanted at the Nike store.
We also went to Marshall's and did some shopping until the stores closed.
Before we headed to the hotel - we decided to get one more snack.
We found this spot in South Common called Una.
It was a taco place on one side.
It was a really nice restaurant inside.
We opted to eat out in the closed in patio area.

We shared a pepperoni pizza.
It was just ok.
We also had charred green beans - also just ok.
We are staying at a Four Points in the South side - we've never been to it before.
The one in Nisku had the comfiest beds EVER so we had high hopes for this one.
It did NOT disappoint!
